GTKY: What is a piece of advice that you would pass on to your future self with your next pregnancy? Or, if this is your last baby, to a friend/family member if they were pregnant?

How far along are you? How big is baby? 32 Weeks and im not sure but she feels huge!!! 

How are you feeling? Spent the last two days with kidney pain and woke up yesterday morning not walking very good. Also threw up due to various smells around my house while cleaning :-(

What's going on this week? Any appointments? family drama with my baby shower next saturday

Rants/Raves/Questions: im sick of the family drama about the upcoming baby shower. Id rather just cancel the whole damn thing but its being hosted by my MIL so i cant really do that. 

GTKY: What is a piece of advice that you would pass on to your future self with your next pregnancy? Or, if this is your last baby, to a friend/family member if they were pregnant? I would tell my future self to not bother with any registries or showers and on further thought to not tell a damn soul i am pregnant to avoid all the damn drama with both sides of my family.

How are you feeling?

I'm feeling good. Lately I've been wanting to just smash everything sweet in my face — pumpkin pie, cake, ice cream, etc. I'm beginning to do the pregnant 'waddle' and not feeling very stylish in any of my maternity clothes. But I refuse to buy anything new since this is my last pregnancy. 

What's going on this week? Any appointments?

Did a huge ikea haul today for the nursery and new stuff for DD's room. We'll be rearranging the home this weekend. I have an ultrasound on Monday to monitor growth since I have a two vessel cord. So far everything seems normal but we'll see.

Rants/Raves/Questions:

I'm giving up getting iced decafs or anything from Starbucks. I can't trust them to make a drink right after they gave me a regular caffeinated drink

Question - refresh me on when to bathe your newborn at home from the hospital?

this is my last one. I would tell a pregnant friend/family member (and even reminding myself) to not be afraid to reach out for help. Yes it's vital to nurture your baby, but also it's soooo important to nurture yourself. Also to not be too hard on yourself or your spouse.

@sjis thanks. Its been this way from the get go with his side but a first for my side. Its turned into a wait and see if they show situation.

 From what i know you wait to fully bathe until the cord falls out. Until then you just wiped them down. 

We are waiting until the last shower this coming Saturday theb my sister has said she would buy me anything else we still needed once their old house sells. She is also setting up the prime auto shipment for diapers and stuff for me as well. 

Thats very good advice. I am trying to be wonder women over here and my last two days of crippling pain has taught me otherwise so i am resting every chance i get!!! Baby thanks me for it since she is MOST active these days :-)

I feel pretty good, starting to get more uncomfortable as my belly gets bigger. Plus some low back pain.

What's going on this week? Any appointments?

No appointments but very busy at week with out-of-town co-workers visiting.

DH is helping get rid of some a bunch of stuff I've had in the "trash/goodwill" list for months and months. He found a friend with a truck who is going to come over next weekend!

Milk it a little more - I'm a pretty tough person and my symptoms haven't seemed THAT bad. So I haven't got a lot of extra help or anything because they figure I can still do everything the same as I did before I was preggers. BUT I'm still pregnant, my body doesn't feel the same as it did before. Sure my symptoms are very bearable compared to a lot of other moms but I could use a little extra love, care and spoiling .

33 weeks today. Baby is as big as a cauliflower blossom.

2. How are you feeling?
Still fighting and losing the morning sickness battle. Been violently ill 2 of last 3 mornings. Other than that ok.

3. What’s going on this week? Any appointments?

See OB Wednesday. Just a checkup. Also doing repeat bloodwork tomorrow.

4. Rants/Raves/Questions?

See #2. Why me. Breakfast has made me violently ill 2of last 3 days. To the point I’ve burst blood vessels in my throat. My ribs hurt from the heaving along with my stomach. Not a good weekend here.

Nothing. I don’t plan on doing this again lol.
