I am lying here wide awake and DH is snoring. I love reading! It's how I spend time for myself and relax. I thought it might be fun to talk about books we're reading or books we've loved in the past.
So, what are you reading?
We are so excited to grow our family!

@sourkim I LOVED Pillars of the Earth and World without End...and equally enjoyed watching the mini series for both after reading the books.
@krashke I enjoyed Ina May and Hated WTEWYE . It just seems so filled with how everything will go horribly wrong!
Edited because words...
I love that she lays it out and gives resources but let's you really choose whether you think they're worth following or not. That was my biggest complaint with TCOYF. I felt like there was no scientific evidence cited for what was being presented.

firefly lane by Kristen Hannah (I loved her book Nightingale)
other recs: Night Circus (so good!)
Ready Player One (sci-for dystopian)
The recs above are adult but I read a lot of YA lit because I am a high school teacher so if you like YA - I'm your girl. Haha.
Have you read The Book Thief? It is one of my all time faves!
I love everything I've read by Jodi Picoult! I have most of her books!
Excited to see what else is recommended
I loved Book Thief too. All the tears! I got John Green's latest book in the mail and is on my shelf to read next. I really enjoyed All the Bright Places which I read a couple months ago and I am reading Salt to Sea right now which is pretty good.
I'm obsessed with Sherman Alexie and Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian.
Looking here for any new recs as I’ve over done it on reading her books within the last month lol
