Happy Friday! I had my 32 week appt today, nothing new or exciting to share. My baby shower was last weekend, so between that and shopping for everything else, we are nearly all ready for baby! As soon as I can get everything organized and put away I will post nursery pics . Tomorrow we are doing a 3D/4D ultrasound! I really hope we have better luck than we have had at EVERY ultrasound we have had. She never wants to cooperate It is super expensive so I hope it's worth it!

@ktcakes87 I hope the 3D/4D ultrasound is perfect! We had to do ours before 27 weeks because it's harder with twins to get good pics after that--and we were very happy with everything!
I'm 31 weeks today and I'm starting to have awful aches and pains throughout my body. I think it's worse by being on bed rest and not moving my legs like they are used to. I only have one appointment next week--with the MFM GD specialist. Then, at 32 weeks I start having bio physical profiles twice a week on Monday and Thursday. Each BPP I will also have an appointment with either the OB or the MFM (Monday is OB day is Thursday is MFM day).
My MIL retired a few weeks ago (we worked together at the same place, and that's how I met my husband) so we are throwing her a surprise retirement party with about 75 people. I've been doing a lot of the planning since I've been working from home, and I am very excited for tomorrow--but also dreading going to the event from 4-7 and then my FIL wants family and out of town guests to go to dinner afterwards. I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but with being confined in my house with the exception of doctors appointments and my baby showers, it's a lot for me. Hoping I make it through and don't start hurting too much!
I hope you all are having a great Friday!!

@ktcakes87 Your baby shower pictures are awesome! The theme came off beautifully. I hope baby girl cooperates for tomorrow's scan!
I'm 32 weeks today, too! We had an OB check-in appt on Wed and everything's fine. Next week I've got a CDE check-in, then our NSTs start the following week and life gets insane for awhile. (I'm feeling really overwhelmed, because they keep moving my NSTs and there's no appointments left that even remotely work with my workday and they don't seem to care at all.)
We're really excited for baby, and not at all ready yet for his arrival. I'd say the nursery is 40% done, but that's 100% of the big heavy moving of things part so I feel like it's a solid start. We're doing our childbirth classes in a condensed weekend starting tomorrow -- eep. The bathroom remodel is done -- except for shower doors -- so we're not living in a construction zone anymore.
Is it not crazy reading how far along we are? Didn’t we just get pregnant?
I am 30 weeks today. We have a growth ultrasound on Wednesday. Happy about that! We haven’t seen her since 19 weeks! I was at the dr with high BP last week. Seems to be back under control now! I’m on fall break next week and I’ve been saying the whole pregnancy “oh I’ll do the nursery on fall break!” Well it’s here and I have to get stuff done. Painting this coming week. My shower is October 28! Super exciting.
@ktcakes87 I hope LO gives you awesome 3D/4D US pics!! They are so cool!
@beary67 I hope you are able to enjoy the retirement dinner; don't be afraid to leave earlier if you need too. I'm sure they would absolutely understand
30 weeks today. RCS is officially scheduled for 12/7 at 2:30 pm so I'm happy that's done. Had a check up today and the doctor did say that we may have to do it earlier if I end up on insulin or if LO continues to grow at the rate he's growing. I'm huge - measuring 6 weeks ahead (he's measuring only 3 weeks ahead based on last growth scan) my urine had proteins/nitrates in it so I got sent to the lab for an additional urinalysis check. They said maybe UTI but I have no symptoms of one and I've always known immediately when I have one. Pregnancy is weird. My BP was good and my sugars have been good - have had only a few high ones that were only high by a couple of points but I know that can change. Next appt is in two weeks, same day as my next growth scan!
31 weeks here today! Actually sitting at the OBs office right now, waiting (my appt was supposed to start 30 mins ago....). I hate these pee test appointments and wish we could just leave it at pee in the cup, do my BP, let me leave. Haha. We finally get to see baby again in two weeks at our first (and maybe only?) growth scan, excited for that to hurry up and get here!
Im so jealous of @kyrwyn! We start demo on our bathroom remodel on Monday.....so happy it will get done, not sure how smart it was to do this so late in the game!
I’m feeling ready to get this show on the road, yet totally not ready since we haven’t had our shower or actually put the nursery together yet.
This little guy seems to be taking taking advantage of being able to roll back and forth and kick his little feet up into my ribs this week and it’s definitely not comfortable! OB says he will run out of room soon though.

@Marley629 Yay for getting your section scheduled. Two of my favorite people have "pearl harbor" birthdays. Seems like an excellent day to be born to me!
@PoeMasque I hope your remodel goes swiftly and smoothly. I felt the same way when we demo'd awhile ago and I am so so so glad we did that while I was pregnant and not while we were brand new parents. That said, having two places to pee again is really nice with the third tri always-gotta-go fun.
@beary67 Good luck at the party this weekend! Take it easy and don't feel bad if you have to bail on the after-party/dinner to take care of you and the babes! I hope the aches and pains let up soon.
@kyrwyn good to know it’s worth it! I’m mostly bummed about not having a bathtub to soak in as the days get colder and my body gets more fatigued they have promised to be done before December though, so I might get a few soaks in the new tub before delivery
