Ethan loves his new playhouse!  My aunt was getting rid of it so we got it for free. Woohoo. I ordered him a new pair of shoes from ikiki.com. They're so cute and they have squeakers!  Haha. Can't wait to see them. We also went to check out a Montessori school and a home daycare. Clearly I'm not ready because I was being ultra critical of everything so we will try again in January.

Jackie being adorable and DH and I at the Navy ball we went to on Saturday. Jackie is still cutting her molars, so our flight to CA this Saturday ought to be fun...

Here are my ridiculous pictures from this week, hope you didn't actually want to see the kid.  Took a final weekend trip to StL for baseball and Octoberfest at Budweiser, though I was sober companion and on baby duty so DH and our friends could enjoy. As we were out the entire day both days, naps were whatever we could manage. First picture is of Miles sleeping between us on a spare tshirt in the booth while DH and I got lunch before the game. Sorry, not sorry. Second is us just taking in the game

@artlea2013 Is Miles losing his curls or is it just a temporary look because of a haircut?!

I wish Damien would pass out like that when we're out and about.

@vintagevix2016 curls are disappearing more with each haircut, but when he's really warm or it's humid, they come back. The sleeping both days was aided by the Ergo. Thank goodness for that, I would have cried otherwise holding the dead weight all weekend.

Now that we're all over our colds, we took a trip to the zoo Monday. We are also trying a bin to keep their toys in downstairs because I got tired of the pack n play just set up to store toys.  I'm nor sure yet how well it's working out.

Lily was able to climb into and turn around and sit nice in the chair at the dr office. 

Shes also crazy obsessed with her belly button. She has started being able to point out other people's eyes, nose and mouth.

It is amazing the faces you make to get your child to smile.  Here we are at my company's open house for the new building.  We did a family selfie at the top, 32nd floor.  Lake Michigan is there in the background.
