My family and I live in Vegas. Those who I know that attended the country music festival this year were fortunate enough to have made it out of the gunfire and those who were working downtown made it home from being locked down. It's completely heartbreaking what happened. DH and I are going to try to donate blood and I am so proud of our city for banding together to take care of our people.
@omegarose3 also glad you, your family, and friends are safe.
@mtb16 it's like once you finally found your flow at home... you gotta go back to work and find a new flow... hope it gets better for you soon!
@mcvgal boo to the germs. I hope that nasty cough doesn't linger too long.
DS1 is finally over that nasty virus (for the most part I think), we are completely out of our old house, and unpacking continues (albeit slowly) at our new house... I think we should be finding our new normal soon!
@mrsrep123 why is there a recommendation to not use them? I’ve heard of them being dangerous around stairs, but never to not use them at all. i don’t have one anyway, just curious. We have a fisher price jumperoo, I don’t want to encourage movement until I have too lol

@redheeler there's a "high risk" of it getting caught on something and then LO and the walker could tip over forward, along with the concern around stairs.
I never got a walker since my house is a mix of wood and carpet, didnt think it would work very good. I do put baby in the jumperoo , he likes it for about 5 to 10 minutes.
I left the baby with my h today for a few hours.. Poor baby cried the whole time. Since I stay at home with him I think its going to be problematic whenver I leave, he isnt used to other people.

Cruising along over here, went back to work a couple weeks ago and it's been pure insanity trying to make everything work.
DS1 still loves school everyday, but I am not like all the germs. He brought home an ugly cough last week. Now DS2 and DD are going through it.
