Dental cleaning this morning.
Normally, I don't mind going to the dentist, but today was super rough.  I had to take several breaks as I was getting super sweaty and light-headed. It was probably the combination of laying flat on my back (weight of uterus on blood supply) and being tilted back. The hygienist was very understanding and did the final polishing without tilting me all the way back, but OMG was that an uncomfortable experience.

@Amber_Waves That sounds horrible! I hate going to the dentist to begin with (phobia) but I don't think I would have been able to tough it out like you did.

My MBF is that DH's handwriting is literally illegible to everyone but him and so he cannot even pretend to help with thank you cards from our shower.  He is also bad at doing the emotional work of thinking up something nice and fairly unique to say to people.  I'm having a really hard time viewing this as anything other than abject laziness, because he could totally improve his handwriting and being-nice-to-people skills if he wanted to. (I had to.)  In my frustration, I told him to pick up stamps -- which he also did not do.

@kyrwyn I was in the same boat  My friends can't believe I have to ask DH what he has written down, but I literally can't read anything he writes. I ended up looking up "baby shower thank you note templates" on google, and just changed it slightly for each person. They ended up sounding so good and I didn't have to do all the work! lol

BF for me is that DD has been getting up in the middle of the night again - just long enough to wake me up - and is being a pain about naps. I gave up today, stuck her in her car seat and drove her around for 30 minutes to get her to go to sleep. TOTALLY what I wanted to do considering gas prices...

@kyrwyn +1 on DH's horrible handwriting, although for our wedding I made him write all the Thank you's to "his people"... and he's actually really good at it. I always like to google 'what to write in a thank you' since I always freeze up. Maybe have him pull this up when he's writing the notes... 
I'm not sure if I'm going to make DH do any thank you notes for the baby shower gifts since he wont be there to open them... but I"m really tempted as thank you notes are my absolute most hated thing to do..... If this wasnt such a crazy time to need #allthethings I'd almost say that I'd rather buy everything than have to write a thank you note.... 

AFM my MBF is just having to deal with Monday.... I feel kindof lost this week after we had to say goodbye to our dog on Wednesday... Going home to a quiet house sucks, so it makes me not want to go home after work... but I definitely dont want to stay here any longer than I have to... ugh. I know it will get better but this Monday sucks more than most.

Sitting at y dr because my BP is high high. They took dd at 38 weeks because of this. I am only 29.3. I need this to be ok and controlled woth meds. If you pray, I would appreciate your prayers.

@dkizz82 hoping all goes well and your blood pressure comes down with monitoring and meds. Please keep us posted and I will be keeping you and LO in my thoughts. 

My BF is that I can not handle the constant bickering, hitting, fighting, arguing, pushing, shoving and all other things that go on between my two sons (4&5 yrs). I mean I love them being close in age, they are best friends. But lately the attitude towards each other and constant noise has me going batty. I'm losing my patience and having a hard time keeping my mom voice in check.

@abcola i'm terribly sorry to hear about your dog. i hope you have some good pics of him/her. when i ordered a custom christmas ornament with newborn pics of my DS, i ordered ones of my previous dogs too  it made me cry at the time but i love pulling them out every year and hanging on the tree. 

@dkizz82 any updates? thinking of you. keep that baby cooking.

Last night DH and I got Blizzards and I was really pissed because I ordered the Reese's brownie one because I really wanted damn brownies in my blizzard. I only got Reese's in it. It was also terribly mixed. They also made DH's the wrong size and tried to give it to us so we had to sit there and wait while they fixed both the charge and the Blizzard. I think I'm mostly really frustrated about this because my GD test is tomorrow so what if that's the last time I have ice cream for three months?!

I woke up this morning and the horrible news really put that into perspective. BUT I'll be honest I'm still a little bit annoyed when I think about it.

Thank you all sooooo much for the prayers and thoughts. It means so much that complete strangers care about me and baby girl. When I got there my urine was good, no protein so that was great! BP was high but he said he thought we could control with a higher dosage of meds. Talked of bed rest and taking me out of work but those were just if we couldn’t get it controlled. 
He upped my meds and I’ll monitor myself.  I when an ultrasound and follow up next week.

@dkizz82 Glad there was no protein in your urine.  Hopefully the meds help. 

My BF is that I'm trying to order my breast pump and I'm running into issues.  Edgepark is giving me issues because my shipping address is in a different state than my insurance policy.  And I did the aeroflow one, but it was essentially filling out a form for them to contact me later.  But I want it done...nooooowwwww. 

I know...first world problems...

@Tennis11785 I went through Edgepark and had pretty much the same issue! I have out-of-state insurance through my employer and it was a nightmare trying to fill out the forms, just for them to say "okay, we'll email you in November". Really wished I had gone with a different company.

As for me, my dd has a cold and was up 6 times last night. My husband also has a cold and is being a big baby about it and slept through 5 of the 6 wake ups. I think I got a total of two hours of very broken sleep. I’m not feeling like tonight will be much better- but hoping to get more sleep than last night!

My husband was signing his team members up for cpr classes and called to ask me if I wanted him to sign me up for a newborn care class. I said so you're telling me I should take the class but you don't need to. He has a 10 year old. I think he meant well but come on...

We bought our travel system yesterday, which is the brand new version of the one we originally registered for. Well we put it together last night and we were missing pieces. The company is sending the parts, and is totally a FWP, but still annoying AF.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. @anewadventure I am having a photo book printed with pretty much all the pictures I have of her, but am still wanting to do something else to have for myself, just not sure what and get emotional thinking about what to do... so I'll wait for now.
