Negative Quantative HCG DPO 7 days, to early?

Hi, new to the bump. I have been TTC for 2.5 years, have had 4 mc.  My doctor ordered blood work on day 24 and my Quantitative hcg was negative. I had positive OPKS cd 15 and 16. Just wondering if this could be to early to have a positive blood test since I could be only 7dpo. I don't temp but plan to next cycle. they are also thinking of doing a medicated cycle next month if not pregnant.
