Negative HPT 8dp5dt - hope?

I KNOW I wasn't supposed to test at home but I guess I just was hoping I'd see a positive after so many negatives. 

Is there hope for me?

This is my 1st IVF cycle. We went through 3 IUI's, one negative and 2 miscarried. 

I had a DNC before we started this cycle and everything has progressed so well. Stimulated and got 13 eggs, 7 fertilized (4 ICSI, 3 reg) and we ended up with 6 viable blasts. 2 were transferred to me and we have 4 on ice. I just don't know how many more disappointments I can handle. 

My transfer was Friday 9/22 and my beta is scheduled for this Wednesday.  I got a negative this am not even a faint line.

I have symptoms but I've written it all off to the progesterone I'm taking so I cannot tell anything.

This is why I try not to test early. It just causes me anxiety. I would just retest at 12 days or so and see if there is a line. Don't give up hope

I'll have my beta at 12 days...

@jaygrand no one can say for sure and I wouldn't want to give false hope, but I've seen plenty of stuff on you tube and on the interwebs where girls are stark white on 8dp5dt and the next day get a pos. It also depends on the sensitivity of your test .

Thanks, I guess I'm just really down, but still hoping for a positive on Wednesday.

TW pregnancy

I miraculously got pregnant during my period right after ER (we took a break before FET). I got a BFN at 13dpo. We were abroad and I didn't test until we got back, which was 25dpo, which revealed a BFP. So at 8dp5dt there is still hope!

@helloworld9 wow that's a crazy story!  Honestly I wanna be hopeful. I do, more than anything but I'm just marinating in the disappointment today and as much as I know that's not helpful to anyone i just feel - almost selfish - like I've put everything to the side to do this. For 2 yrs now hoping and just one negative after the other and then finally to move forward w infertility options and then being hopeful and let down. I just feel like it's the inevitable and I need to figure out what to do next.

jaygrand - implantation happens at different times for everyone, that's why they don't recommend testing early (which we still all do). I hear stories all the time about people crying on the Beta day because they still don't see that second line, and then get a BFP blood result.

@FuzzyDust you're 100% right, and honestly I knew that and was trying to stay positive and hopeful...I was able to move on just a bit Sunday-Tuesday, work helps keep me busy.

I had my beta yesterday, and we got a BFP - level was at 436!  

We are thrilled, but cautious.
