Hola! I'm new.

Wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I just had my first IVF stim cycle in August and I'm waiting for my FET at the end of October. I have 3 embryos on ice.
A little about me: I'm 41, and I've been TTC for about 7-8 years. As much as I love my friends and family, no one fully gets how hard this road is. Hoping to join a supportive group, where I can help and be helped. Excited to get to know you all.

Hello!  Excited for you to be joining us on the FET thread, too!  It's true, I think its pretty much imoossible to "get it" unless a person has gone through it themselves, hate to say.  But we get it!!! ❤❤❤  Congrats on your three little embies!  Did they ever give you a diagnosis?

Hi...I'm new too. Wish you the best!  Sometimes I'm not sure where to turn, and as you said - fam and friends are great but sometimes I feel as though all I'm doing is explaining the process more than anything else.

@BusinessWife hi! Thx for the welcome! I have PCOS, a blocked Fallopian tube and I'm 41. I was married before, and at that point we were dealing with male infertility as well. I got divorced, and basically accepted the fact I would never have kids. Then I met my now husband, and my hope was renewed ❤️  Neither of us have children and we both have always wanted a family. But it's a hard road to open up these emotional wounds again. (I'm sure you all get it!) I've also had nightmare stories with REs, but I finally found a great doctor.

@jaygrand hi!! It's nice to meet you! Hopefully we can all lean on each other through this journey.

Welcome! I have PCOS and 3 embryos also :) so much in common! It's amazing you closed the door on having a baby and then had a renewed hope in your new marriage. It's really hard to relate to friends and family so it's great to go through all of this together. What is your protocol going to be??

Thank you  @prudence9-2 I just turned 41 a couple days ago, glad I'm not the only one here in the 40s club. I will be doing a medicated FET, I have PCOS and my cycle is an unpredictable hot mess. My transfer is scheduled for 10/26.

Welcome and congrats @coco305! It is definitely an interesting path that only some have to walk - and it's certainly difficult trying to relate to those who haven't struggled with IF or gone down the IVF route. Do you have an estimated FET date?
    **History in Spoiler**
    Me-35, DH-36 - TTC since 08/10
Me - anovulatory, non-Insulin PCOS, DH - low end of "normal" sperm count
       IUI#1   - 02/15 - Cancelled due to scrubbed sperm count <1MM
       IVF#1  - 08/15 - 13x5-day blastocysts (ranging from AA-BB, most are 5 or 6), not PGS, on ice
       FET#1 - 10/15 - 1 emb - BFP (DD 07/16) (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
       FET#2 - 07/17 - 1 emb - BFN (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
       FET#3 - 08/17 - 1 emb - BFN (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
FET#4 - 10/17 - 2 emb - BFN (changed to estrace + prometrium because of allergic reaction to PIO sesame oil)
    ERA Testing - 12/17 - window moved (-1 day)
       FET#5 - 03/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
    Karyotype Testing - 04/18 - Negative (we're ok)
       FET#6 - 06/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
       FET#7 - 10/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
FET#8 - 11/18 - 2 emb - BFP; looks like one baby is going to make it, DD is due 8/16 (though likely to be 8/9)

Hi @MamaK225 :) thanks for the welcome! My estimated FET is 10/26. Baseline is tomorrow, and I'm currently on a 12-14 day lupron protocol. Shits getting real! (It's my first IVF)
