DH is not on a restricted diet, but he gave up cake at our baby shower, and he is working from home in the mornings so he can walk with me after breakfast and make sure my morning goes okay. While I can manage mornings on my own, it's really nice to have him there in a way that doesn't compromise his work with his team. And it means our dog gets to come on the morning walk. (Everything not-mission-critical and on the ground is dead to me at 30+5. Which makes it hard to be a responsible pet parent.)
DH is a rockstar because he has done EVERYTHING around the house and to prepare the nursery and play room while I’ve been on bed rest for the last 8 weeks. The second I try to get up to do something (I’m pretty stubborn that way) he runs in and makes me lay back down and takes care of it. I haven’t done laundry, cooked, anything in soooo long. He even has my lunch ready to go each day before he leaves for work so all I have to do is microwave it or add the finishing touches. He’s been wonderful.
DH is a dingleberry because the other night he ate a caramel apple and an ice cream sandwich in front of me (both banned on my gestational diabetes diet)! It made me sooo angry!

DH is a rockstar because he spent all day Sunday with me looking at closet organization things. We ended up purchasing WAY too much, but we'll be able to sort out our linen closet, baby's closet, and my pantry. Three things I've been wanting to do since we moved in, but I'm super glad are finally getting done.
DH is a dingleberry because he is leaving town tomorrow for 6 days. The first time he traveled while I was pg, I ended up in the ER for the first time. When my mom went to Hawaii, I went to the ER the second time, and had emergency surgery. The third time my H traveled for work, my dog jumped on my belly and caused a big scare. Needless to say I am not excited for this trip. He leaves tomorrow, my mom and dad are both heading down to Houston to help my little sister move. I decided it was safer for me to go with my mom to Houston than stay here alone, and my doc agreed, but I already have a lot of anxiety on what's going to happen while he is out of town this time...

My husband is a rockstar for taking on a lot of the stress of this remodel, even though he's really overwhelmed. He's kind of a digleberry because he thinks he's the only one who's overwhelmed and he literally CANNOT pack a single box. Like, he just told me he can't pack up the garage because he doesn't know where to start. Uuuummm...dude just START.
Husband is a rockstar- since we attended our first baby prep class last night. He was totally into it and was participating and engaged! We went to high school together so it was kinda fun to be back in the classroom setting- but I was impressed with his focus since he has ADHD and has gone off his meds. Totally different in class than he was 12 years ago hahahaha He’s gonna be a great dad!
DH put together the crib AND the changing table by himself in less than an hour last night. It was great, I didn't even know he was doing it, plus he was really proud of himself. He's not a very emotional person so it's nice to see him doing little things that give him some connection to baby.
Hes a dingleberry because hes been using to much vacay time at work For taking days off not needed and spending it on when he gets home early and only has three days left saved up which will have to be used for the hospital and then back to work even tho my mom will be here i was really looking forward to us having a week together being new parents but now its not possible
