22 + 6. I feel huge all the sudden. I think I've really popped the last week or two. Also, my MIL, SIL and I just finished canning/freezing 221 quarts of applesauce. Needless to say, I'm exhausted. I'm all but asleep in this picture.
Hi everyone!! Just wanted to say that everyone is looking wonderful!! I so rarely take a picture of myself to put on here and this one is from Monday... Belly is just starting to grow past the huge boobs. Sorry I'm a day late
A day late...whoops. I forgot to do a "work bathroom selfie" yesterday, so here's one from last night, trying on a potential "Hawaii dress." I think it's going back to the store because it makes me look pretty gigantic (and I'm not fishing for compliments with that comment. It genuinely makes twice as big as I am!). STM at 26+4 yesterday!
@cyanope it’s so hard to find the right fit, especially when pregnant. I was looking for a long dress for the wedding because I’m not going to wear the dress from my HDBD photo and my husband asked me why I needed a fitted dress and not something flowy. I was like I’m already a round girl, and if I get a flowy dress I’m just going to look fat and not pregnant, at least with something more fitted they’ll see the baby belly.
Preach, @supercoolstephy! Typically, I love a flowy, bohemian type dress. Not so much while pregnant. It was pretty comical! I would look on Amazon, @supercoolstephy! I know that sounds weird, but I have honestly gotten so many inexpensive, but good quality dresses from there. I always get compliments, and I'll tell people, "$20 on Amazon!" Just search "maxi dress." There are some tight options, even with that that search criteria!
Ok I'm a day late but this is the first belly pic I've taken this pregnancy so I must share. Now to try to remember next week while still actually dressed.
@schaze@KatieEl@hminer4 Thanks ladies! I got the dress on Wren and Ivory. I absolutely love the material (it is so soft) and the fit! Definitely one of my better maternity purchases.
@supercoolstephy I had almost the same convo w DH! I was trying to find a dress for a wedding, and a future dress for baby showers etc, and DH was all "none of your dresses are tight, wont they still fit" I had to explain that for once I was on board with the tighter fit around the mid section so that its obvious I'm growing a person and haven't abandoned all portion control lol.
