Thank you @ELeighMay and @Mack2342. I already feel comforted knowing I am not alone. Two of my close friends are pregnant right now and it's hard not having anyone who understands.
Hi @cassafrass15 Glad you joined us here, but sorry at the same time. My sister announced her pregnancy about 6 weeks after my first loss (she had her baby a month ago and I still haven't seen him), and one of my good friends just announced hers and she is due the same month as my EDD with my second loss. It's tough. But if anyone understands, it's these ladies so feel free to get anything off your chest that you need to.

update to my thryoid and vitamin D check - both came back normal range. A book I was reading said to have those 2 things checked. I'm 100% healthy lol. All hormones are in check, tubes are clear as day, no c section scar tissue and according to OB he said uterus felt healthy. DH joked last weekend wondering if they forgot to put my eggs back when I had my c section 6 years ago. Not funny DH!
Ugh. I feel your pain @ELeighMay and @tosh24. One friend is due the exact time I would have been for loss #3 and the other is due around the time I would have been for loss #2. And they're completely clueless as to why I have a hard time talking to them about their pregnancies. Glad to have found you ladies!
@cassafrass15 so sorry for your losses and welcome. i have been here for a month now (actively, but was lurking before for couple weeks) and all the ladies here are amazing in answering all the questions and just simply being there with you through crappy times.
I am coming back from LA now, it was a great one day adventure, we (i went with a friend of mine) succeeded with our goals in the consulate, and still had two hours to enjoy a beach. luckily we could keep our soon expiring passports, so took a flight back instead of an awful o/n bus ride (it's my FW for god's sake! ). We had the funniest uber rides ever in LA, one finished in almost a proposal, showing a ring on my finger wasn't enough, had to pull out my marriage certificate, lol! the guy was like 20 years older than me. Sooooo tired now, will be home in like 15 minutes, but defenitely not BDing until morning. This time it's on me I noticed that before dinner time DH is more energetic and I totally used this energy yesterday night;) I also just honestly told him that we have to speed up the game if he wants a big family. It worked. My US appointment was rescheduled for thursday, which will be cd 13, but my OB said it's still a good time for accessing lining quality. FX crossed the lining is fine and there are no signs of adhesions.
@jchpg Thanks! EDDs are
hard. I would say it sounds like you have some pretty good support from DH, but
I totally understand the want and need for things to happen.
@moofish2364 That’s interesting science. I’ll be
interested to hear what your RE says. Enjoy the renovations!
@eleighmay I get it. My husbands eyes cross when I
explain my accomplishments at work You’ll do great!
@sprkls8506 I just saw that! OK confession, I am one ½ seasons
away from finding out who A is. My friend ruined it for me and told me it was
really anti-climatic, so I didn’t finish it. Maybe this is the kick to get me
to finish it!
@cassafrass15 Welcome to the group. Always remember that your feelings are valid,
despite what anyone else is going through/if they understand. Good luck at your
presentation!
@vlagrl29 Woo for super health! Not funny DH, not funny!
@aga31 Sounds like a catch, so did you accept. LOL just
kidding. Glad the early BD worked!
1. Introduce Yourself Just posted an introduction. Ttc since January. 2 mc's since ttc this year. 2. Status? TWW 3. R/R Looking forward to a game night we have scheduled with some friends this weekend 4. GTKY. Watched This Is Us last night!!!! Looking forward to Greys Anatomy tomorrow!!!!!
I wanted to watch This is Us last night but DH said since we didn't watch it at all last year we should start from the beginning before we start this season.
DH's and I 8th anniversary is next Tues. I used one of the 8 year elements for my gift to him which is clay. I set us up for a date night at a pottery class with a wheel and we will get to make a pot to take home. Yea for creative!
DH and I started at the beginning of This Is Us last night. So far it's really good, and I can completely see where the tear-jerker factor can be a thing as it goes on. I had no idea it had so many great actors in it.
Well I kicked ass and took names at my presentation and impressed the bosses! Win! TW***And then my MIL messaged me to ask when I am due...apparently DH forgot to call and tell her that we MC. So, reliving it by myself at Reagan National Airport was SUPER fun. End TW***
@ELeighMay and @vlagrl29 omg get your box-o-tissues ready. I am not a cryer and I especially don't usually cry about a TV show but This Is Us gets me every, damn time.
@cassafrass15 That's awesome about your presentation, it's such a good feeling to nail something like that! But, I cannot imagine having to go through a recap of your loss in an airport. *hugs*
Thank you @ELeighMay and @robyn2201. It definitely sucked, but my MIL opened up and shared that she also had a couple of MCs before her first child. It was nice to hear that she understands, when so many in our lives do not.
my MIL said that nothing like that ever happened to her and continued talking with my DH about what is wrong with me... it was really hard for me to break the news for her that the only x chromosome in a baby was mine, which means it was a defective sperm from her son. even after that she kept sending me addresses to "infertility specialists". You can imagine we don't talk too much anymore. It never happened to my parents either and they were able to cry with me and be there for me with no questions asked, even though they live across the ocean. Which only proves that you don't have to go through exactly same experience to symphatize and support others.
@aga31 ugh, sorry your MIL reacted that way. I would probably not be talking to her much more after that either. Glad your parents were supportive and comforting at least.
aga31 Because a loss isn't hard enough, let's add a MIL that has zero empathy to the factor. I'm so sorry. Honestly, I'm so glad my MIL never even knew we were expecting in the first place. I imagine I'd be in your same boat. It's great you have such supportive parents though.
@aga31 - ugh so sorry for your lovely mil - what an insensitive person because info for fertility specialists just makes a person feel so much better about themselves. Should have asked her if she'd pay for it lol.
Oh @aga31 your MIL sounds like a real charmer - I am so sorry! My MIL is usually incredibly insensitive and blunt (she once asked why we bought such a big house if we don't have any kids to fill it up with), but on this topic she was surprisingly sympathetic.
