fever with a growth spurt?

my toddler is a hotbox anyway, and he is getting over an ear infection, but he started complaining of pain in his legs last night (per daycare teacher poss growth spurts, an he has been eting like a horse.)

do kids get fevers with these? he was so sweaty he was clammy, but he acts fine when he is awake. or would you take him back to pediatrician for another checkup?

I would not think he would get sweaty or a fever from "growing pains".  I'd take his temp and see if he has a fever and how high then call the pedi.  Maybe his ear infeciton is trying to come back.
