Hi ladies, I'm starting this a day a day early because I'm at a conference and I might not have a chance to start it tomorrow. Also this is my last week in the 2nd trimester (holy crap how did that happen?!?) so if someone else would be willing to take over the thread that would be great.

Good morning!

This is a weekly check-in for those in their 2nd trimester: weeks 14 through the end of week 27.

Congrats to all the strong ladies who have made it this far! It's such a great feeling and we've all accomplished so much! We are now 1 week closer to the end of this especially long journey we call "infertility."

Please post below a little about yourself, how many beans you have growing inside, if you have found out the sex(es) and what your EDD is. Please also let us know how far you've made it on your journey and when your next appointment is and what for. If I'm missing anyone from this list, or you are new to the 2nd tri, please let me know and I will add you.

Hello everyone! 16wks3d today with b/g twins. I had an appointment last week for cervical length,  which turned out to be 4.2-4.3 which she said was good . I got to see the babes. Both heartrates were great. Baby A didnt want to show his face and Baby B was like look at me..  No change in the placenta previa .
My next appointment is Oct 10th. With the MFM doctor for my AS scan.

My favorite part of this pregnancy would be feeling the babies move inside me.
Something Im nervous about would be Baby B's cord and the placenta previa .

Hey ya'll I am now 19w3d. I will find out the gender on Saturday!!! My next apt is with MFM next monday and then my OB right afterwards.  Saturday we are going to a localish 3d/4d place to get an us done and will leave with the gender in an envelope then we are having a party afterwards where we will find out what we are having. Almost everyone is team blue esp since we have twin girls.    
I'm in straight up nervous mode for my US. I'm still not getting any movement and I'm worried. It's been a few days since I've used my doppler I need some 1 on 1 time with it I guess. My belly is getting bigger I can't fit into my pants but that's it the cravings have stopped the thirst for water has stopped. I feel great the majority of the day.

@thucks i hope you get your boy! I haven't really had cravings,  but i still need my water...please keep us posted and enjoy your 3d4d ultrasound they are the best!!

I had my 1 on 1 time with the doppler last night. The heart beat was about 143. I sat there for the longest time just listening then one of the girls came in and got so excited to listen to the baby. Gives me a little reassurance that at least it's still beating in there   I did a 3d with the twins at 30 weeks and it was soooo awesome. This time its a 4d HD live ultrasound it's pretty kewl way more in detail. I'm super stoked about it.

@thucks is your placenta anterior? Mine is this time and I feel SOOOO much less, I'm almost 28 weeks and only recently started feeling more regular movement, and even then it's like 10 kicks a day. DH has yet to feel this kid. With the twins he was feeling them by 20 weeks

@wabash15 Not that I've been told and I can easily use the doppler  so I don't think so. One of my girlfriends has that and she can't use a doppler. According to facebook lol I was feeling flutters at 17 weeks but I can't remember when I was getting strong full movement. I do know that baby B was WAY more active than baby A. I could never tell if Baby A was there she was so tucked in very low and not active even in ultrasounds. Maybe this baby is the same way?

@thucks have fun at the ultrasound today! Can't wait to hear what you're having   One of my good friends said she didn't feel movement with her second one until 23 weeks compared to 18 weeks with her first. I guess every baby is different and I'm assuming maybe its easier to feel twins earlier since they're more tight on space?? AFM I'm 18 weeks with a single boy. Belly keeps growing and I like that it's finally obvious to strangers, but suddenly feel like I got huge, yesterday a man stood up to give me his seat on the subway! Happy Saturday all!

@wabash15 I went to my MFM apt this morning and I do have a parcel anterior placenta it kinda wraps my rt side from front to back.  
It's a girl!!! I have posted more in this week board.

@thucks well that explains feeling less movement, and congrats on another girl!
