Hi guys, I'm about 10 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I'm having an awful time sleeping and have hardly slept in 3 days. Is there anything that helps? Thanks
a half tab of Unisom is approved for treating morning sickness, and Benadryl is approved for allergies and colds, so I'm sure either would be fine to take for sleep.
You should, however, always consult your doctor before taking anything.
I have terrible insomnia in general and pregnancy hormones always make it worse. When I'm not pregnant I take Ambien, when I am pregnant I switch to unisom, and melatonin. Sometimes even that doesn't help. Not sleeping is the worst.
