@JJMNO1616 the FB group is "Wildbird Chit Chat B/S/T" there are some slings that sell for wayyyy more then retail, but there are also some that go for cheaper (around $50 shipped I've seen) plus their already on their way to being broken in (less stiff) so that's nice.

It's pretty ridiculous. I've seen slings go for several hundred dollars on there before. SMH From what I've learned bamboo is the softest and easiest to break in. It's also the warmest. Often recommend for first timers and/or newborns upto 20-25 pounds (it can carry heavier, just becomes less comfortable). Linen is stiffer/takes longer to break in, but once it is its good for newborns on up. Doubles are, as expected, 2 layers of linen and a "beast" to break in. Not recommended for first timers, newborns, or the faint of heart. They are more for the bigger babes/toddlers as the provide more support. I forget what's special about the chambray.
