I knew my library offered audio books through overdrive... but I finally got the instructions and got it downloaded on my phone. I LOVE it! I've "read" 2 books this week. I want so badly to be a reader, but I just never make the time for it. But I'm always in the car/cooking/cleaning and that's the perfect time to listen to it. I think my falling head over heals for podcasts the last year has helped transition me into listening to talk vs. music.
@LDSJM123 - hubs has become a talk radio guy over music. We listened to talk radio on 3-4 hour drives while in Washington over Labor Day weekend. I was like omg i need some jams!! I've heard the same news articles and audio clips 15 different times. hahahaha
I love overdrive!! It's so great. I read a book a week but it is nice to listen to one too.
My awesome is FALL. it's here!!! I'm diffusing cinnamon and clove, baking cookies, drinking fall seasonal teas, etc. I got out my decorations. This is my favorite season! Also, my birthday is tomorrow so we are having French toast for dinner.
Happy early birthday @shaylalr!! I'm loving fall too, except it decided to get hot again this week after such a cool teaser week last week!
My awesome is that it's my last week covering this maternity leave and I survived! It was fun teaching again, though I am more motivated to really make progress in my business so I can keep working from home for awhile. Our schedules have been nuts the last couple months I have worked outside the house! Ready to get back to the old routine and have the house less chaotic!

My awesome doesn’t sound that awesome but I’m excited about it. I’ve been dealing with super bad migraines the past few months, and it’s gotten to the point where they’re daily now in the past week. In a moment of desperation, I did some frantic googling today and found a natural family wellness center close to our house. Gave them a call, they got me in this afternoon. Turns out I have a dislocated rib that’s messing up all the things. It’s probably from Ruby living in my rib cage for 8 months... but it may have been pre-existing before my pregnancy. She popped it back in, is seeing me tomorrow, and got my insurance to pay for a “necessary” massage. I feel a ton better already and can’t wait to go back tomorrow.

I still love music don't get me wrong! But I've learned to enjoy listening to talk too. @kmurdock925
So many awesomes to smile about this week! Despite the fact we've got a wedding this weekend with a bridezilla & groomzilla and it's going to be 90* I'm not in the wedding (DH is the best man) but I've been having fun preparing for it - my dress had to be taken in an inch and then sent off to the dry cleaners, new shoes that are totally out of my comfort zone for what I wear but I LOVE them, nails painted a fun fall color, eyebrows are (finally) waxed (DH volunteered to watch S so I could get them done!), I've got an idea for how to do my hair quick Saturday morning, S has an adorable new dress & shoes, AND in the midst of all of this I've made dinner each night this week and I am quickly falling in love with the Sorta Awesome podcast (thanks @LDSJM123 for the recommendation!)
1. E's top teeth finally popped through so now she's back to her normal self! 2. As long as I stick to my routine, tomorrow I'll hit my workout goal for the week. It's the little things. 3. Little man is starting to pick up his energy and I'm feeling him move a lot. It's really helping me process all the mixed emotions about this being unplanned, and I'm getting more excited for him to join us in 3.5 months!
I guess my awesome this week is that I joined our local Y. So far I've done one group class and I've taken AJ swimming. It's fun and I'm looking forward to continuing to go. I had gestational hypertension so I want my heart and weight in a good spot before we try again
Love it! I too did lots of meal prepping and planning, successfully! Always something to be proud of, haha! It's our anniversary tonight so I included a special meal plan for that. Plus wine. Cause wine is amazing and earned these days. I'm hoping to make to to the gym tomorrow before my husband leaves for work. And if that happens this week will be beyond awesome!!
