Rant/Rave: I tested this morning because (1) MH thought I looked tired yesterday and also I felt tired (2) I'm supposed to start progesterone suppositories if I get ku so I clearly needed to know for sure. Yeah both of these were bad reasons to test early. I clearly need to re-read the "you're not pregnant" thread.

@zamora_spin   I do that to myself too!  I say I won't test and somehow I do.    I think it is too early though, so FX for you!  Do you start the progesterone suppositories now or not until the next cycle begins?

@dukestar5 Oh, it is def too early, I know from experience it is too early, and yet I talked myself into it! We went to our first RE appt and she told me to start baby aspirin right away and to do the progesterone only if I get a BFP. I know sometimes dr's prescribe progesterone throughout LP but atm we don't have a reason to think I have low progesterone, just trying to provide support if I do get ku. TW I doubt the protocol will stop a third loss but I like that the RE is being proactive. end TW I hope your friend takes the birthday news well.

Also when I was dating my husband, his parents are uber conservative Christian parents for 10 generations back. We used to HIO in the basment when his parents were upstairs

@zamora_spin, my kitty is doing pretty well, thanks for asking! He has his official vet weigh-in tomorrow, but our home scale suggests he's up about 12 oz in the last two weeks. He definitely looks and feels more substantial, too!

@catlady1215, enjoying the sun this weekend sounds like a great plan! Got to get outside as much as possible before the winter blahs arrive.

@dukestar5, I hope your phone call with your friend goes okay and she's understanding!

@blackhottamales Ha, nothing that racy, it was with the ex BF. 
@Saratiff Some women who are ku have a temp drop the day of implantation, with the temp rising back up the next day (the drop could even be at or below CL although it could be less dramatic than that). Because implantation occurs between DPO 7-12 it would generally be on those days that you would see an ID. The trouble is that when a dip happens it is impossible to tell if it's really an ID. I have experienced dips in cycles where I was not ku, as have many other women. You can only really tell if you had an ID in retrospect if you get a BFP that cycle. 
eta to add - @doxiemoxie212 That sounds awesome. I hope your dip turns out to be an ID!

@Saratiff lol it's a temp dip that signifies retrospectively implantation. Meaning, if you get pregnant you can look back and say, oh, there's implantation. But it happens in non-KU charts too due to mid-luteal estrogen surge.

Testing: BFN again (with FRER), so just WFAF. This was a really weird cycle so I hope AF shows up tomorrow or the next day. I just want to start fresh. 

Typical LP Length: 10-12 days

Rant/Rave: Only raves today! It's Friday and my cousin is coming to visit for the weekend!

So update re: acupuncture if anyone is interested: 

getting a new herb blend to support implantation apparently. She wants me to start emailing her my charts before each session. She was so excited I chart! She said the rocky pattern I had before ovulation is what's referred to as "blood stagnation" in Chinese medicine, and she believes this has been fixed since my spotting has stopped. She also asked if I have any breast tenderness and I was like, oh, no, that's weird actually, the last 6 months they've started hurting immediately after O but I have none and it's 7dpo. She said that's great news because breast tenderness right after O is "pathological." 

I dont know how much I believe all that, but I'm soooo happy the spotting has stopped for as long as it has (which is like not that much time for anyone but me probs but still) so I'm willing to keep going down this journey path lol.

Rant/Rave: [Rant] My spotting is totally getting me down.  [Rave] It's Friday, and a long weekend for me.  Also, I'm having vegetable sushi and wine tonight!

Be proud that you're starting to work out and get back in shape @galactickates! I have moments I get really angry that I let myself go back to old habits, and then I remember that I can't change what I did in the past, I can only control what I'll do in the future. You're taking the right steps, and that's something to be proud of.

@josteele91 - If you had a peak OPK on Wednesday and a temp spike on Thursday (and the temp has stayed up today and continues to stay up), it would put you at 2 DPO, not 3 DPO. Just a heads up.

We had sex in H's work-truck (18-wheeler, big rig) last summer when I went with him to a delivery. He couldn't get to the plant more than 1 hour before his appointment, and we were like 2 hours early and bored and I bet him he was too chicken to have sex in his truck.
It was extremely uncomfortable, but super thrilling and fun! I'd totally do it again.

The wine and sushi totally helped.  Also, cornfield sex is TOTALLY hot lol.  I highly recommend it.
