@laurendiaz02 Got the ball rolling on the Halloween topic so I figured I'd make a thread for it.
Do you know what you want your LO to be for Halloween? Already have a costume? Will you try to go trick-or-treating or attend some Halloween/Fall party or festival? For those with LOs in daycare, will they be doing anything for it?
My husband's Kylo Ren costume is finally complete so he's itching to wear it and my costume is done but still with my MiL so I need to get it back from her. I picked up 2 different sizes of an Ewok costume for Damien since I wasn't sure which would fit him. The smaller one seems to fit well but I may still use the bigger one so he can wear layers underneath of it.
We're thinking about heading out to the 'burbs to trick-or-treat (very briefly) to visit some friends that have a son who is a few months younger than Damien. I think daycare will be encouraging the little ones to dress up but I haven't heard anything yet so who knows. Damien went to daycare dressed as Batman not long ago, because my husband dressed him that morning, so we'll probably send him in a costume no matter what.
I'm horrible about planning, or caring anout planning anything lol. At this point I'm planning on having cam wear one of the puffy painted TARDIS shirts I made for the girls second Halloween (right after their 1st birthday) I think it should still fit him though.
@Tawny87 I tried to sell my husband on the idea of a Muppets/Doctor Who mash up family costume idea, but he vetoed it. Instead I think I'm making dragon costumes for all three boys, and I'll be the Mother of Dragons. I told my husband that since he vetoed my first idea, it was up to him to put together his own Khal Drogo costume.
I think I sold DH (reluctantly) on being the paleontologist couple from Jurassic park and dressing Jackie is the little frilled Dino. At the end of the month we have a military ball to attend and the after party is halloween themed. For Halloween we'll probably go trick or treating with some friends in the neighborhood.

I was torn between this and the little old lady. Something about this barely walking/walking with a walker stage makes for particularly adorable baby/old people. And I love the toddler bums and Big Lebowski's too. There's only so long before they start having an opinion on costumes...

I have no idea what Nadia will be. I might re-use my oldest son's Halloween costume from that age. He was Max from Where the Wild Things Are. She might come trick or treating with her older siblings, but I'm not sure. We will go to our church party, and my son's school usually does a party too for families.
My 6 year old wants to be a ninja. My 3 year old wants to be Hermione from Harry Potter. I don't know yet if I'll dress up
So I'm not normally the type of person to go nuts over Halloween, but I'm really feeling it this year. I've got my table all dressed for fall and found a Dino tail for Jackie's costume for $3 at Target.

It's a toss up between a chicken, a peacock, a lion (so we can pull her in the wagon, and DH will create the cage) and work out toddler. I also really liked this one for us and our good friends daughter, but neither has long enough hair haha.
Husband wants us to be a Pocoyo family - LO gets to be Pocoyo and I'm supposed to be Elly and my husband wants to be Pato. God knows where we're supposed to get those costumes.
Lily will be a firefighter. We got the hat at a fair free from the community helpers booth. And her outfit is Pjs at carters. It will double as what she sleeps in that night.
Nope. And if they do, who cares? One less step for bedtime after an inevitably late, sugar fueled night. ETA: part of Jackie's costume will be her dinosaur print PJ's, so maybe I'm biased.

Agree! Double duty, jammies he can wear in the future so more bang for your buck or quid in this case lol.
Well I found myself purchasing costumes at Walmart today. Alex picked Skye from paw patrol I tried to talk Victoria into Marshall so they would be complimentary but she picked giant Dino head and Cam is going to be baby Darth Vader which is pretty awesome!!!
