My awesome of the week, is a meal planning service I signed up for. It's called Eat At Home Cooks. Every month you get access to 4 weeks (6 meals 1 dessert a week) worth of menus for 3 different types of food. Whole, traditional, and slow cooker. You print the grocery list and meal plan-- that's color coded for easy reference if you want to skip a meal, cross off what you already have, and head to the store. The recipes also are right there to be printed and she even goes as far as reccomending side dishes to pair with it.
I love to cook. But I am enjoying someone else putting the menu and grocery list together for me. It's been a perfect break for me (I notoriously overthink our meal plan) and I'm loving all the new recipes I'm getting to try. The food is tasty. Not fancy, but most of it has been really good.
That sounds awesome @LDSJM123! And looking at that list makes it very clear why I am so bad at meal planning on my own, I have never mastered planning and organization to that level in my life! Haha. I'm currently pinning ALL the soups on Pinterest and I'm pumped for soup season. Good thing DH likes soup too!
My awesome of the week is that I have finally gone an entire week without tossing my cookies and my appetite is coming back!! Cue angels choirs. We finally announced on social media and so that was fun! I also feel like P's turned into a full blown little kid this week all of the sudden, his personality has just been hilarious and he's getting to be such a mischief. I'm loving this age soooo much!

Elise got super sick and I took her to the ER last night. My best friend came this morning and brought her a bunch of easy to eat foods, homemade remedies, essential oils, and a Starbucks coffee for me. She is definitely awesome! I don't know what I would have done.
My awesome this week is this nice weather. Or hasn't been humid and has stayes in the mid 80's. It's not here to stay, but taking advantage of it while we can.
My awesome is I finally took the time to sort through *most* of the bags of hand me downs we recently received. Enough so that they aren't taking over the dining room. And that makes me happy!
My awesome this week has been hurricane prep. DH thought I was crazy and didn't think it was going to be a big deal. I followed my gut and we are 100% ready (except for an Amazon order due tomorrow). The storm turned this afternoon to head right for us and DH started to freak until he realized I had taken care of everything...shutters, food, water, gear, and beer!!
My awesome is that I got a $670 check from the hospital I delivered at for "overpayment". I don't ever remember paying that much, but I'll take it! We used it immediately to replace our dying dishwasher, so it will also be awesome to have a new one of those this week!

This is week I picked the slow cooker menu:
