It's actually kind of weird, I want things flavored with chocolate but actually eating just a chocolate bar sounds gross. But I'm good with chocolate ice cream, brownies, cookies. I don't understand it

This! I was this way last pregnancy too. Give me all the chocolate milkshakes but the thought of a candy bar makes me sick. I've been drinking orange juice daily and I normally don't drink juice at all.

I really want to eat fruit. I could go for some watermelon with strawberries and blueberries. Too bad there is no way I am going to the grocery store to get it. Everyone is going crazy here prepping for the storm so all the grocery stores are mad houses.

But how?!?! I worked there on and off for almost 7 yrs (high school thru college)... never ever got old. Because it is BREAD... which is LIFE! But I will respect your choices, more soup and bread for me.
I have eaten a bagel and chicken shawarma pita sandwich w fries. Which I dipped in garlic sauce or ranch. I need to walk or something. Toddler "walks" burn off nothing since DD wants to walk herself. Slowly. While looking at every stick, leaf or flower we come across.

Nothing I have absolutely no appetite and nothing tastes good. And I feel awful if I force myself to eat. Relying on prenatals, pretzels, and anything I'm able to force down at this point. Much different from the eat everything in sight I did with my girls who are 5 & 7. I'm 6 weeks today.

Did you work for a corporate or franchise store?
No idea. They let me eat for free a lot. Like a lot. Does that answer your question? Wait.... I think it was corporate. We went to a big orientation at another store.
@momo214 I'm from Houston so whataburger is my jam. But I moved to Mississippi. They just opened one by my house. It's a dangerous drive to target now.
I've been eating salads and soup. I had chicken tortilla soup tonight. Ive been craving jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzels from wawa but trying to avoid them.
@momo214 there's been one out here for like 10 years but it was sketchy and I refused to get food poisoning from there. I think we're about as Far East as it goes.
We've been doing Hello Fresh to make sure we have healthy dinners (we're pretty bad about getting lazy) but I can tell you what I WANT to eat is Montreal bagels. Nothing but Montreal bagels. With butter, with cream cheese, with tomatoes, oh god I want one right now.
My Blue Apron box never came this week because there was a problem with delivery or something (I got a refund). But since that was planned dinner for 3 nights it's been takeout. Nothing healthy here.
We did sun box for a while and I loved it but my fiancé hated it because he felt like he wasn't getting enough food. He works long hours and usually only has time for breakfast and dinner. My original plan when I started getting them at was just to have them for lunches for me every day but it's way too much money to spend on that
all I can handle is simple carbs and dairy. Which sucks because prior to getting pregnancy I was all about that #lowcarb life. lol
Every morning I eat pretzel chips with ricotta to try and catch the early morning nausea.Then a decaf latte. the rest of the day its just random tiny snacks, french fries, cucumbers.... on the bright side I was hoping to continue to lose weight during first tri and looks like I will have no problem with that.
@kpc914 totally doable to keep losing completely healthfully. I lost 30 lbs with my son (I walked into the hospital in labor in prepregnancy jeans lol) I stayed "low-carb" most of the time, meaning limiting breads, pastas when ever I could and keeping my starchy vegetables to a minimum- to an extent. I didn't deprive myself, if I really was desperately craving something I would eat it, even if it wasn't low carb. I just did so in moderation. Passed my 1 hr glucose test with flying colors and my son was born the day after my due date at 7lbs 12oz. Rock it girl!

Was craving wings tonight. Talked DH into going to get some. Made the mistake of looking at the menu and decided on a Philly instead because fries sounded so good. Before he even left the house I knew I made a mistake... and I was right. Ugh.
I was craving steak on Thursday so I bought some and wanted DH to make it. We're finally going to eat it tonight. I compromised a little tiny bit on the cook and said medium well instead of just medium.
King Ranch Chicken. So far this pregnancy is different than my first. Despite waves of nausea I'm soooo hungry. Last pregnancy was all about the barfs and gags. Now, just bring me food.
I am craving stuffing like there is no tomorrow. As soon as my toddler wakes up from his nap, I'm going to the store and making it happen. I NEEEEED it.
