I hate Pumpkin spice lattes. Actually, I hate most pumpkin/pumpkin spice flavored items.
If it's real pumpkin, I love it (so like pasta in a pumpkin cream sauce or pumpkin bread made with actual pumpkin is fine). I also love pumpkin beer. But I can't do the fake pumpkin flavoring.

@leilagphillips To me, it tastes like what burnt plastic smells like! I think it's a genetic/taste bud thing. I wish I liked it because it sounds delicious when other people describe it.
Also, speaking of celebrities people seem to have strong opinions on... I love all the celebrities that I regularly see come up in UOs because people hate them (both on TB and in real life). Specifically, Amy Schumer, Lena Dunham, and Taylor Swift (I know we already talked about T-Swift in UO before).
I like pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread if there are no nuts, but otherwise I don't really get the pumpkin obsession. Except pumpkin candles because they're amazing.
@MJDsquared I told DH that Kate Middleton was pregnant and he said "What movie is she in and do I care"? LOLOL. He is so clueless but it was funny. I feel the same.
@MJDsquared When I heard Kate Middleton was pregnant again, I just felt bad for her. Another HG pregnancy and all her personal details in the public eye sounds super unpleasant.
@rainbowdashh@Tennis11785 My mom is putting up some pumpkin from her garden for me so that I can have pumpkin bread (or pie) after LO gets here as such sweets are verboten on my GD diet. I thought that was sweet of her (no pun intended).
Maybe this is a UO at this point since this country is so pumpkin-gaga? Pumpkin stuff needs to back off and give apple season some room
Right now I'm getting hyped for apple cider, cider floats, apple crisp, apple cider doughnuts, trips to the orchard, and apple cider caramels (<-- I can't even describe how good these are). Some would say, "why not both?" I love pumpkin stuff but say: You can have October and November, Pumpkin!

I'm not a big fan of pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks either. I don't really like starbucks in general, too sweet, overpriced etc. I do have a recipe for homemade PSL's using pumpkin puree that I'm excited to try. I also have a recipe for pumpkin cookies that is to die for!! Being pregnant and bored and wishing it would feel like fall here in Florida, I baked an apple pie over the weekend and made pumpkin bread. Cranked the AC down and enjoyed it with hot chocolate!
Fall, pumpkin, apple, and all things related to them are the absolute best and if you disagree you're wrong.
@peachy13 I love avocado and would put it on everything myself, but its crazy surge in popularity has been really hard on my dad, who is allergic. He's got a peanut allergy too, which is easy to check for at restaurants, but he's had a hard time remembering to ask about avocado/guac and most restaurants don't seem to take him seriously for some reason.
@whiska I am adding apple cider caramels to my post-delivery sweets wishlist. And my family treats all of fall as apple season, even if pumpkins are around they certainly don't bump apple pie off the menu at Thanksgiving. (Gotta have both or someone will get upset.)
I guess my UO is that there's Christmas stuff coming out at a few stores and it makes me SO EXCITED! I love Christmas and the fact that I will be birthing a human just prior to Christmas makes me want to get ready even earlier this year!
@kvacmak YESSSS! Me too! I am a Christmas nut, although I do love fall time and pumpkin flavored things! But Christmas is where it is at. I was a December baby too, and I never had an issue being that close to Christmas! It makes me 10x more excited for Christmas with my own December baby!! I just hope he doesn't come more than a week early, because then he will be November
