@shri929 I don't know anything about this, but have seen it mentioned before. I would post on the infertility and "pregnant after INfertility PAIF" boards and I bet you'd get a bigger response. Women on those boards have all had extensive testing and knowledge of their diagnoses. Good luck!

    *lurking*

I had testing done after 2 back to back mmcs and it was determined that I have Factor V.  *tw* I am now almost 29 weeks pregnant and have been taking daily Lovenox injections and baby aspirin since week 4. I am considered a high risk pregnancy but all that has meant for me is a meeting with a high risk specialist and monthly u/s which i find reassuring. I know getting a diagnosis like that can be scary but treating Factor V has helped me to get to the third trimester of this pregnancy after two 1st tri losses. Let me know if you have any other ques or feel free to private message me.

I've done lots of research on clotting disorders - I think with factor V, as @TScalei mentioned, you will be diagnosed Lovenox and BA. I was holding my breath for a diagnosis to use blood thinners but didn't get one.

Thank you ladies for all of your responses! @TScalei that's good to know. Do they think your mcs are related to the factor v?

@shri929- I definitely believe they both were since both times baby stopped developing very early at around 6 weeks and then I miscarried both times at 10 weeks. It just seems too coincidental to me not to be related. I firmly believe that starting the shots early helped me to get this pg through the 1st trimester.

I had to take Lovenox and baby aspirin during the TWW and if I become pregnant it will continue until 36 weeks. The shots really aren't that bad. Just try to relax, squeeze a bit of fat on the side of your belly, and inject. I dispense the medicine slowly because it's kind of dense and tends to hurt worse if I squeeze the plunger too fast. Your nurses will go over it with you

My sister has a protein S deficiency which seems similar to factor v in that it has to do with clotting. She was on Lovenox with her last pregnancy and had no issues. She also had to take a baby aspirin while ttc and the rest of her life.

Sorry for your loss. I came back mildly positive for a clotting disorder (antiphospholipid) so did quite a bit of research. I believe the tx for Factor V as well includes baby aspirin and lovenox injections 2x a day, but with good outcomes.
