Valacyclivir is definitely allowed and I'll likely be on a suppression dose for the entire 40 weeks. They'd rather prevent than treat. I got my sono and bc we didn't know when we conceived we found out. It makes more sense but I'm actually pretty early still. Officially 7 weeks today. But the HR was low. 116 so they want me back on the 15 for another sono.

Had my prenatal class at my OB office yesterday and tomorrow is my first official prenatal appointment where they do a full head to toe physical as well as Pap smear. I had my dating sono and EDD confirmation with one of the docs last week.

Just got home from the doc! Had a vaginal u/s and saw a beautiful, strong heartbeat of 160. Doc confirmed my EDD of 4-13 and said everything looks great. She even said I could enjoy a medium rare steak when we go to a nice steakhouse for our anniversary in 2 weeks. Praise! Going back in 4 weeks unless something shows up on the blood draw they did today. It's amazing how much anxiety was lifted when the tech said "look at that strong heartbeat!" hope everyone else gets similar warm fuzzies!

My appointment went well! We saw little arms and legs and the baby was moving all around in there!! I also got labs for genetic testing which I will do next week. All is good for now

Mine went great too! Measured 6w6d which is right with my chart but they are keeping my EDD based on LMP, so 4/23. Heart rate was 140 bpm. It feels so much more real now!

All went well at my 9w u/s. Baby was moving and had a heart rate of 181. One more week and u/s and then I graduate from my RE.

Great first appt today. Dating u/s scheduled for Monday. One thing the surprised me the most was how much the guidelines for genetic testing have changed in 2 years. I still don't plan on doing them this time, but it's great that they're offering them to women under 35 that are interested. The more control women have over their bodies and pregnancies, the better!

So exciting, @hedgepig! Have fun telling your family! My mom lives in WI, so we will tell them via FaceTime. I'm going to tell her my son has a birthday surprise for her, and have him show her the picture!

Our appointment went great, we measured 8 weeks 4 days, with an EDD of April 15th, which is exactly what I guessed! We can officially join the Sunday ticker! Heartrate was 168. Sweet relief!

I was so freaking excited that my US yesterday was not transvaginal!!!! Babies look good, weirdly one measures right on, the other measures a day ahead. I'm hopeful that I'm going to be released from the fertility clinic after they review US.

Glad to hear good news from others as well, and hopefully you have great stories of telling family/friends after your appointments.

I had a great appt this morning. Baby looks perfect. Measuring right on track. HB was 176.

I feel so much better after this appointment! Baby is measuring 8 weeks 4 days and heartbeat was 164. Moved my due date to April 16th!
