R/R: H fell asleep at 5:30 (!!!) last night, and my attempts to wake him up for sex weren't working. I told him we're having sex tonight whether he likes it or not.
CS/Q: Thankfully my OPKs have all been negative so far, and are barely getting darker. So hopefully we have a couple of days to get some okay timing in. My temp has been scarily similar the past four mornings, and it's making me super excited because I hate when it looks like mountains.
GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? Jon Krakauer's Into The Wild has always been my favourite book and movie. I love that Christopher did something he believed in, and in the end he found himself and the true value of loved ones. I mean, it's kind of morbid because he dies in the end, but... it's fairly realistic. Which I love.
@izza2, at least YH should be well rested for tonight! Was he not feeling well, or was he just tired?
Month/Cycle: 9/10
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: All the things
R/R: We're going to be short-handed at work today and I need to get our big annual supply order done, so it's going to be a busy day! I've been having a lot of migraines lately, so I'm hoping to get through the day without one of those...FX.
CS/Q: Nope!
GTKY: My favorite book is The Phantom Tollbooth by Norman Juster. It has a lot of wordplay and other nerdy humor in it, but I love it most because its message is that we should never stop exploring the world and learning new things. Pretty appropriate for a librarian's favorite book!
WAYDTGKU: Please tell me I'm not the only one who raises their hips after HIO just in case it helps even a smidgen?
R/R: Both: H starts his new job today! Yay! Fingers crossed that this gets his panties unbunched because he has been super agitated this week. I'm hoping it was just nerves.
CS/Q: Got my most positive OPK ever last night! Too bad H has been like the Grinch all week so our timing hasn't been the best.
GTKY: For some reason, Eve's Daughters is one of my favorite books. I think I like that it tells the story of three generations and lets you in on their secrets and what made each lady who they are.
@izza2 Oooh your chart looks pretty. I'm babysitting my favorite little boys today, which I consider fun. Anything fun going on for you?
@Augusta108 Oh no! Sorry to hear about a busy day. FX your migraines don't show up today.
@izza2 Bummer about the lack of sex last night. MH wasn't up for sex either. Here's hoping we both get good timing anyway! @Augusta108 I'm embarrassed to admit I've never read The Phantom Tollbooth! Sounds like I need to remedy that.
Month/Cycle: 6/6
CD: 15
WAYDTGKU: bbt, cm, opks, pnvs, green tea, acupuncture
R/R: Rant - didn't sleep well last night. MH has a bit of a cold and kept snoring. Hopefully I got enough uninterrupted sleep to be able to trust my temp this morning! Rave - Assuming I can trust it, definitely a clear temp spike today! I'm pretty certain now that cd 13 was O day, but I'm hanging out here until I'm sure.
CS/Q: See chart for lovely temp spike.
GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? This is a hard one, since I love books so much! Pride & Prejudice (Jane Austen) is definitely towards the top of my list, as is Neverwhere (Neil Gaiman), and He, She, and It (Marge Piercy). I like books that hold a mirror up to our relationships and societies and make us question our assumptions about people and the world in general.
Well my chart is up there because mobile is being dumb.
@izza2 I'm sorry YH fell asleep! Hope you get to HIO tonight. I also delight when my chart looks nice and steady. @Augusta108 Sounds like a busy day at work. I hope you don't get a margraine, they suck.
Month/Cycle: 5/5 (3/3 and 1/1 AL)
CD: 12
WAYDTGKU: All the acronyms plus acupuncture
R/R: My hair came out cute but a bit short (my fault because I told her to take a few inches off). We HIO last night but that will likely be our only good timing because of MH's trip so we'll see how this turns out.
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? Anna Karenina (Leo Tolstoy). Although famous for the train thing with the titular character, which interestingly was the original germ of the story for Tolstoy based on a newspaper article, the things I love best about it are the incredible character development and the rich descriptions of Russia. There is an amazing scene where Levin works in the fields with the peasants and then has all of these realizations about life and the world while looking at a cloud and then the cloud disappears and the morning comes and he can't quite remember all those things he realized overnight. How many times have you had that happen?
GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? I don't have a favorite book, but I love to read. I just books. As a child my absolute favorite was Mr. Popper's Penguins. But the book I've re-read the most is Pride & Prejudice. So I guess those are my "favorite". Recently I've finished the second book in the Dark Tower series, and now I'm work on Agent 6 by Tom Rob Smith.

@Augusta108 GL at work today! Definitely hope you don't get a migraine.
@skilledsailor I totally raise my hips after HIO. DH always laughs at me Have fun babysitting today, anything fun planned?
@darkstar42 I hate when I don't sleep well Yay for the temp spike! FX it stays up there!
@zamora_spin Glad you like your haircut I've never read any Tolstoy although it's been recommended to me by numerous friends. Might have to remedy that.

R/R: Rant/Sad?!: My baby sister leaves Wisconsin today to Texas. I am going to miss her so much, but I couldn't be more proud of her for living her dreams. So I am attempting to stay positive, and not trying to cry every 5 minutes or so.
GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? Harry Potter 100%! The moment I started reading it I feel in love. I felt for Harry as being an outsider to the wizarding world, and not really knowing anything about it. To me it a tale of building yourself up from step one, and it made me feel whole.
R/R: I haven't worked out all summer. decided to start again yesterday. did a small 20 min thing at home.. and I'm sore. hey self, way to be a slug all summer.
CS/Q: nothing to exciting to stalk yet
GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? I don't get to read much. But the notebook will forever be a favorite. love the story line.. annnd love ryan gosling

@izza2 I have a deep hate for mountain temps also. even if pretty temps mean nothing at all, they make me happy.
@augusta108 wtf, I've been real headachy this week also. I don't like to call them migraines but even my Excedrin migraine wasn't cutting it. hope you make it through the day!
@skilledsailor good luck to your hubs today! and I've definitely raised the hips.. I might have been joking about it to DH, but I think a part of me hopes it helps lol.
@Zamora_spin I had the same thing happen with my last haircut, I told her shorter.. but didn't specify clearly how much. it was cute but much shorter. that was in march and I still haven't cut it again since! hope your timing works out!
@ajsanders-2 never easy to see family leave. I'm sorry
@lurvleybunchococonuts I always hear such good thing about pride and prejudice. its on my list if I could ever make myself sit down to actually read again!

@izza2 5:30 is intense. I've definitely fallen asleep at 8 before, but 5:30? Is your H sick?
@augusta108 I used to get migraines all the time and it turned out I was really low in B12. Once I got my levels up, they tapered off. Have you gotten any blood work recently? B12 isn't something typically tested but it might be worthwhile to ask.
@SkilledSailor I don't raise my hips, but I definitely try to lay in bed for 20 minutes!
@ajsanders-2 What is your sister going to be doing in TX?
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD: 9
WAYDTGKU: CM, PNV
R/R: Shouldn't it be Friday?
CS/Q: Two questions: Is EOD better than ED? I thought EOD was better, but Fertility Friend suggests otherwise. Last cycle, we tried ED and my husband was done after 4 days in a row (-3 to O). Or does it not matter? Second question: When checking CM, how do you differentiate between CM and sperm? I find that on days after we BD, it is almost indistinguishable, which makes it hard to track.
GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? Favorite movie: Shining Through. Favorite Book: Where the Red Fern Grows or Harry Potter. No real reason behind it, I just love them.
@izza2 - Kick his butt if you don't do the BD tonight!! @Augusta108 - FX everything at work goes smoothly for you! @SkilledSailor - I do the same thing! You are not alone! @darkstar42 - Yay for a spike in temp!! @zamora_spin - That book sounds very interesting! Adding it to my ever growing list! @lurvleybunchococonuts - That book has been on my to read list forever!!
@marcus7676 - She currently has a job at Best Buy, but who knows what else she will be doing. She wants to venture out and be her own person. So anything can happen.
WAYDTGKU: pnv, bbt, cm, ubiquinol, mucinex, acupuncture, hio
R/R: We ended out camping trip early due to weather. But I also turned into Edward Scissorhands and sliced into my own finger to which I now have six stitches to show for it. Not my brightest moment. But plus side, DH is great in a crisis and can carry me when I happen to faint. Winning!!
CS/Q: I'm not overly happy with my chart right now. CM has not been what I was hoping for and temps aren't reliable with all the bad sleep etc. FX that I still manage to get a clear indication on O.
GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? I'm going to have to give this some thought. There are too many favourites out there.
@izza2 Hope you get some tonight! @Augusta108 FX things go smoothly today and hope you feel better! @zamora_spin I have done that with haircuts before. I hope that you love it in a couple days. @SkilledSailor My doc actually told me to put my legs up against the wall after sex just two weeks ago. So, totally there with you whether it works or not lol @marcus7676 Having the same issue right now with CM. I have heard putting in water helps. EW won't dissolve and will stay together. Semen will. But I haven't tried it myself. @darkstar42 beautiful spike. FX!
@catlady1215 I think what happens with hair is that when it's wet they're cutting and you're like, yeah, that looks good and then it dries and springs up another inch. My hair grows so fast while I'm taking PNVs it should be fine. @darkstar42 Nice temp spike! @marcus7676 I posted it yesterday towards the end of WTO but there is a study on timing that shows, essentially, that you are most likely to get ku from BD on -2, -1, and O. The study also talks about ED and EOD and I believe the general conclusion is that EOD reduces your chances a little. Despite the numbers, I don't think there is a universal answer to the question of whether EOD or ED is better because it is true that for some men ED doesn't give enough time for the sperm to build up again, but there's not a good way to know if YH has that issue or not. If it is a real chore and just not possible to do ED, I think EOD is still very good. I have noticed that FF will give you a "high" score for timing if you have at least two BD's in the range of -2 to O, which makes sense as then you will have had two times in the most fertile part of FW. Study and chart from the study below.
R/R: Got in a jog this morning and some house work.
CS/Q:nope
GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? One of my favorite books would be The Vampire Lestat. Not sure how it speaks to me, I just really enjoyed reading it.
@zamora_spin thanks for the chart and study. My husband loves statistics so I'm half tempted to send it to him to read. Since I'm not temping (yet) I'm not quite sure when O will be. My husband suggested 2 in a row with a day off in between so maybe we will try that too.
@marcus7676 There may be other studies as well (I think there are) but that one really breaks it down and has nice graphs. I might suggest EOD when you start to get fertile CM, and then move to ED when you get either EWCM or [eta] positive OPK, depending on when those fall relative to O for you.
@izza2 I loved the book Into The Wild! I have never seen the movie. GL for tonight! @augusta108 GL at work today! I hope the migraines stay away. Are they a typical thing for you? @skilledsailor Yup, I do the raised hips thing. Even though it is likely as effective as the hokey-pokey. FX your H's heart grows 3 sizes @darkstar42 Ohhh, that's a pretty temp spike! I've thought a few times someone should make artwork out of charts. @Zamora_spin Sorry your hair came out a little short! Did you get it colored or only cut? A new haircut always makes me feel like a new person. FX that timing does the trick. @lurvleybunchococonuts Lame-I can only see your first GIF. I love to read, too. If I check a book out at the library, I like to still buy it later. Owning a physical book and seeing them on my bookshelf makes my cold, black heart a tiny bit warmer. @ajsanders-2 What is your little sister going to be doing in TX? Sorry that you'll miss her @catlady1215 Way to get that workout in! @nitnat007 Most importantly, I am glad you are okay! Next, good thing those stitches aren't interfering with TB time! @marcus7676 Where The Red Fern Grows is a good one! @stargazer1lily are you off today? Way to be productive already!

Month/Cycle: 3/3 CD: 20 WAYDTGKU: R/R: My Pandora was on-spot this morning for my drive. I wish the clinic I'm in today was where I live & I worked in it everyday. Or at least that the front desk lady here was at the main clinic with me everyday. She's wonderful! CS/Q: Not today. My doctor finally returned my message. I wrote her a long diatribe about my short cycles and charting, and she wrote 1 sentence. Ha. However, she ordered a progresterone level at day 16-18. I'm on day 20 now, so it won't be until next cycle. GTKY: I love so many books. It is difficult to pick an overall favorite. I really like "The Little Prince" by Antonie de Saint-Exupery. It is a life-book.
R/R: Rant: My mom just found out she is unable to have surgery she has been pushing for since January. The very same surgery she called my MIL about to ensure we did not go down to FL to visit my IL's in June since she would need me while recovering. And now I get the call that she is depressed and doesn't know how she will live like this much longer. Rave: Planning a trip to Disney with my bff for her 30th birhtday.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? I love so many books but my favorite has to be Gone With the Wind. I have read it at least once a year since I was 11 and my husband got me a first edition for christmas when we started dating.

@Stargazer1lily MH loves that book too. He refers to one of our cats as the Brat Princess because of it.
@zamora_spin I've read/seen that study before, but always a good refresher, thanks for re-posting it
@nitnat007 Ouch, hope you heal quickly! I hope the majority of your camping trip was fun at least. Did your SS have a good time?

GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? My favorite book of all time is called, "Sabriel" by Garth Nix. It's a YA fantasy book that I read for the first time when I was a teenager, and I find that I pick it up every year or two and read it again. I don't know why I love it so much, but it will be one of those books that I will always have on my shelf.
@izza25:30pm! That's crazy! But he should be well rested for tonight. @Augusta108FX your migraine stays away and hopefully it's not too busy today. @SkilledSailorI raise my hips too and DH even reminded me to do it the last time, haha! @darkstar42Yay for an awesome temp spike! @zamora_spinFX it's still good timing! @ajsanders-2Are you able to go down and visit her sometime soon? But it's awesome that your sister is following her dream. @catlady1215Ryan Gosling is amazing in the Notebook. @marcus7676For checking cm, could you check it before BD? @nitnat007 Yay for your DH rescuing you, but I'm sorry you needed stitches. Hopefully it heals quickly! @jrm_14It's good your doctor requested that you get your progesterone check next cycle, but hopefully you won't need to get it done.
I have a bit of a rant (see spoiler) after a visit to the doctor. *tw*
You all know I had the shoulder/neck pain flare up a few weeks ago that landed me in the ER. Today I went in for a follow up appointment with my doctor. In my check in with the nurse, I mentioned that I was ttc. The nurse proceeded to tell me about how easily she got ku with her daughter. "I just stopped bc, and was ku one week later!" So angry right now. I was like, well, we've been trying for seven months now with no luck. Her response, "oh, it'll happen." Um. Lady. That's not how it frickin works. RAWR. Ok, rant over.
@ajsanders-2 Where is your sister moving to? Also, I also love
Harry Potter.
@catlady1215 I worked out yesterday for the first time in
forever as well! Yay for getting active again. I get excited when my temps look
pretty. I wish it meant something!
@nitnat007 Six stitches?!? Yikes! Glad you’re ok, and sorry
you had to end your trip early. Hopefully you’ll be able to sleep better and
get those temps to make more sense.
@zamora_spin Thanks for the chart on conception chances by
day! That’s helpful to see.
@jrm_14 I love the idea of chart art! Or infographics or
something.
Good morning! It's the last day of the month and in the real estate world that means it is going to be a crazy day! Month/Cycle: 1
CD: 17
WAYDTGKU: BD. I will start temping this weekend.
R/R: Still annoyed with how all over the place my cycles are after coming off of BC. My last cycle was 80 days long. Yesterday on CD 16 I had a ton of EWCM. Of course H and I passed out while watching TV so no BD yesterday.
CS/Q: Not today
GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? My favorite book is Beloved by Toni Morrison. She has such a poetic writing style and I just love her. My favorite move is A Christmas Story. I watch it year-round. It just reminds me of happy times.
@lurvleybunchococonuts A year ago she needed an ileostomy after having multiple intestinal blockages and going septic. She has been pushing to have it reversed and just found out if she does she could end up with a fatal blockage within the year. She refused to believe this would be a part of her life long term so always just complained about it instead of finding ways to improve her experience with it (trying different bags etc).
@lurvleybunchococonuts , @ChloandCoco - She's moving to a suburb of Dallas, I believe Louisville. Yes I will go down and visit her. Maybe in December when it's cold here in Wisconsin!
R/R: Dinner with friend last night was good. DH is sort of being a dick today. He hates his job and is complaining about a specific aspect of it which would exist in literally any job ever that involves a computer, but especially any job as a lawyer, and I know his job sucks, and the people he work with sucks, but it bothers me that he's complaining about this specific thing. So I try to gently point out that this particular thing would exist anywhere. But then I'm "sooooo unsupportive" so whatevs.
CS/Q: not yet
GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? Favorite book.... well, either Harry Potter or Song of Ice and Fire, but Harry Potter is complete, so probably that. I just love fully imagined fantasy worlds. And I believe that most things are predetermined - we can't choose who we are, so we can't choose what we do. I really like stories that play with fate and destiny and the fact that even if everything is predetermined it doesn't change the fact that we are who we are, and we'll have to do what we have to do, and in the moment, it will feel like we have big choices to make. I think my favorite movie is A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints....
DW is getting a ute scan on Sunday so... yeah. Not much to add but I like participating in the GTKY
@doxiemoxie212 I've been meaning to read Song of Ice & Fire! It's on my Kindle. I don't have HBO but have watched Game of Thrones up to season 6. The spoilers are killing me. I wish whoever published news headlines wouldn't put the spoiler *right where I can friggin see it* UGH
I've been really into Blake Crouch novels recently. He writes good mind f*ckers which is right up my alley. I love to re-read his books to catch clues that I missed the first time around. I wouldn't say he's my all-time favorite author but his books are very absorbing. I need absorbing now because anything dry just will not hold my attention with how divided my racing mind is anymore. I need an escape, not education.
@jrm_14 it would take a lot to stop bumping lol. Left index finger, so mobile bumping is good. @lurvleybunchococonuts DSS had a great time. He didn't want to leave. But there is only so much one can do in the rain while camping. @darkstar42 Thanks. Definitely a better nights sleep last night.
@izza2 Thanks for the great GTKY question. Can't wait to add all these books to my Goodreads list! @Augusta108 Good luck at work today. I hope your migraine stays away. @SkilledSailor You are definitely not the only one who raises their hips afterward. You never know! I hope your DH likes his new job! @zamora_spin Sometimes I like to get my hair cut a bit too short at first, that way it can grow in and the haircut lasts a little bit longer...hopefully you get used to the short hair and end up liking it! @lurvleybunchococonuts I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't choose a favorite book! @ajsanders-2 So sorry about your sister moving away! I moved away from my big sister years ago when I joined the military and I miss her every day. It's great that your sister is following her dreams though...good for her! @catlady1215 Good for you for working out again! I've been a slug all summer as well. We did a long bike ride over the weekend and I'm STILL sore from it. @nitnat007 Sorry about your stitches! Glad your DH came to the rescue. I sliced my finger open a couple of years ago and head to get I think 7 stitches...DH was way more level-headed than I was in that situation and I was glad to have him helping me! @StephieBears88 That's really awful about your mom's surgery. Is it completely cancelled or just delayed? Are you planning a trip to Disney World? Disney trips are my favorite!!!! I hope you have a great time. @ChloandCoco YA is my favorite genre. I will definitely be picking up Sabriel!

WAYDTGKU: Waiting for FW...
R/R: Rave: AF only lasted 4 days! After coming off the IUD a few months ago, AF was lasting a long time and was really heavy, so I'm glad it seems to be getting normal now. Rant: Going to visit my in-laws in New Jersey this weekend. There's not much to do in their hometown and DH is really allergic to their old house (dust and mold, yuck!) so he always ends up getting sick afterward. But *TW-child* it'll be good for DD to see her grandma! *end TW*
CS/Q: Question: This may have been discussed endlessly already, but is it worth cutting back on caffeine/alcohol during the TWW? Does it help you get KTFU any faster? Considering cutting back during the next TWW but I don't want to miss out on caffeine/alcohol consumption if it won't actually help. There's really nothing better than having a big glass of wine or beer after a long work day!
GTKY: What is your favourite book/movie of all time, and why does it speak to you so much? You guys are going to make me look bad with all your smart/classic books! For my favorite book of all time, I'm going to go with one I read as a kid -- Ramona Quimby, Age 8. It was my very favorite book and I remember relating to her because she had a big, annoying sister just like I did. It helped me discover my love of reading and thinking of it brings back lots of good memories of childhood. For an adult book, I'll pick one I read recently--A Man Called Ove--a fantastic book about a curmudgeonly old man who's having a very difficult time after his wife passes away. He meets some new, crazy neighbors who help him enjoy life again.
@StephieBears88 that's rough, I'm sorry to hear that. That's so unfortunate that she hasn't come to terms with it I would imagine that's pretty hard to deal with, but I would reassure her that it's not the end of the world. It could be far far worse Given the choice that's a nuisance, but I wouldn't imagine it would impact your life to the extent of "not wanting to live like this anymore". I suppose one can't know until they experience it themselves. Hugs & FX that she's able to make her peace with it

@offtoneverland general consensus around here is drink until it's pink. Unless you're binge drinking on a regular basis, it's probably fine. DH and I decided this cycle (WTO and TWW) we're going to limit ourselves to no more than two drinks each per night, which is probably a lot for some people, not a lot for others (we fairly regularly will finish a bottle of wine just the two of us so...... cutting back lol). Honestly if alcohol hindered pregnancy, there would be a lot fewer babies in this world, KWIM? (I don't know much about caffeine because I haven't been able to tolerate it without wanting to die in like 10 years, but I think it's the same deal.)
@offtoneverland There is a connection between over consumption both of alcohol and of caffeine and infertility. The difficulty is in pinpointing what is too much. Coffee/caffeine - I have read a fair amount on this and it seems like one cup of coffee is an amount that has been studied extensively and found to be very safe while ttc and during pregnancy. Some sources would even say more coffee than that is ok (for example, author of Expecting Better). Be aware that coffee can have the effect of drying up CM so you might consider cutting back during FW. Personally, I love coffee, but since we have ttc I drink it much less often and mostly stick to green tea, which has a little caffeine, and have 2-3 cups a day of that. Alcohol - Some studies have shown that fertility can be impacted by as little as 5 drinks per week, other studies have not shown that effect.
Two books I have read that kind of guide my thinking in these areas (recommended to me by TTGP'ers) are Expecting Better (a great read for anyone ttc/newly ku) and It Starts with the Egg (a great read for ttc'ers who are AMA, struggling with IF, or with loss(es)). The Expecting Better author presents a lot of information and gives you a good framework for how to make decisions - she was personally comfortable with a greater amount of caffeine/booze during pregnancy than I would be, but she very specifically says she is there to help you make educated decisions and not make them for you.
As @doxiemoxie212 indicated, there are also women who can binge drink constantly and/or basically have a coffee IV strapped to their arm and have no trouble conceiving a sticky, healthy baby. There are also women/couples who do every possible thing "right" and still struggle.
@stephiebears88 being a caregiver for a parent is hard! Take care of yourself . When is the Disney trip? @lurvleybunchococonuts. THANK YOU for the descriptions of your GIFs! WAYDTGKU: All the things, except sex apparently.

@izza2 I'm sorry YH fell asleep! Hope you get to HIO tonight. I also delight when my chart looks nice and steady.

@augusta108 I used to get migraines all the time and it turned out I was really low in B12. Once I got my levels up, they tapered off. Have you gotten any blood work recently? B12 isn't something typically tested but it might be worthwhile to ask.

@SkilledSailor My doc actually told me to put my legs up against the wall after sex just two weeks ago. So, totally there with you whether it works or not lol
@marcus7676 Having the same issue right now with CM. I have heard putting in water helps. EW won't dissolve and will stay together. Semen will. But I haven't tried it myself.
@darkstar42 beautiful spike. FX!
@darkstar42 Nice temp spike!

@lurvleybunchococonuts DSS had a great time. He didn't want to leave. But there is only so much one can do in the rain while camping.

For an adult book, I'll pick one I read recently--A Man Called Ove--a fantastic book about a curmudgeonly old man who's having a very difficult time after his wife passes away. He meets some new, crazy neighbors who help him enjoy life again.
