I love that this thread has been getting active so early in the day lately! But it means I miss people posting while I write my 6 AM replies:

@blackhottamales, GL packing! Are you going somewhere fun?

@lurvleybunchococonuts, it's rare that we say this, but yay for CD1! I'm glad you get a fresh start, hopefully this cycle will be less frustrating for you!

@offtoneverland, I hope all goes smoothly filling in for the team lead this week!

@augusta108 Thanks :) I know what you mean. Not exactly happy to be bleeding, but glad for the new cycle. Plus I'm curious to test a theory I have about my ovaries.  It seems as though one is pretty clockwork, 31-32 days cycles, which would be this cycle.  And the other (this past cycle) kinda does what it wants and has varied from 36-43 days.  Sigh... the things you find interesting when TTC :D  I'm glad you didn't have to come under your in-laws fire last night.  Do they know your TTGP?  I hope you got some good food at least.

@offtoneverland Have fun being team lead :)  What do you do?

@lurvleybunchococonuts So glad you're finally on CD1! I'm an editor for a local research company. I'll be glad to take a break from editing while acting as team lead this week!
@Augusta108 Do you work at a library? Cool! I love reading!
@blackhottamales Have a great trip! Hope you're going somewhere exciting.

@lurvleybunchococonuts, they do know we're TTGP. We mentioned it last spring in connection to Thanksgiving plans. They've actually been pretty good about not bringing it up, but because I know how critical my MIL is when she gets going on a topic I'm always nervous about it!

@offtoneverland, yes, I work at a public library. It is a great job overall!

@SkilledSailor, FX for a cyst in this instance! The time with my in-laws is always stressful for me, it's a very different family culture than mine. Even their jokes are all making fun of each other in not very kind ways. At least this time the person they were criticizing wasn't present, so it wasn't as bad as some of the conversations I've been present for!

@izza2 tea is a dieuretic (sp? too lazy to google) so it makes sense you're peeing more but you should probably try to drink a bit more water with it etc
  • Options
@darkstar42 I think you O'd yesterday. Try putting in fake high temps the next few days.
  • Options
@izza2 I have totally noticed the same thing. I usually have green tea in the morning, and then later in the afternoon, and I feel like I have to pee like every 5 minutes! It is crazy!
@blackhottamales Exciting! You better pack! We are planning a tropical get away next year! FX on that though.
@lurvleybunchococonuts Sorry about CD1, but it sounds like you were waiting forever!
@Augusta108 That does not sound like fun.
@SkilledSailor Cycle buddy!! How did I not see this before!?

@ajsanders-2 I hope your chart figures itself out :) wasn't waiting FOREVER, but definitely longer than I'd like. Historically I'd "spot" for 2-3 days, then start bleeding.  This time it was "spotting" for 4 days, then nothing, then finally started bleeding this morning.

@dukestar5 thanks, I'm not happy it's CD1, but I am happy to no longer be in limbo :D

@doxiemoxie212 hope the bleeding stops soon

@darkstar42 I hope your temps continue to rise, ooo new dresses are fun!

@SkilledSailor FX it's a cyst! Keep us posted *hugs*

@augusta108 Ugh I relate so hard! My MIL rags on my H all. the. time. It's so uncomfortable!

@darkstar42 Do you like maxi dresses? They're usually super comfy.

@dukestar5 Sounds like a healthy day! I wanna be like you.

    @ajsanders-2 Haha I didn't really realize either!

@Augusta108. Question for a fellow book lover...have you read Lilac Girls?  It's been recommended to me and I wanted to see if you've read it.
  • Options
@darkstar42 Your TTC name sounds more like an STD! :# I agree that your O was probably yesterday.
@dukestar5 I haven't read Lilac Girls yet, but I heard it was great and plan on reading it soon. Maybe @Augusta108 can tell us if it's worth the time! I used to run and I really miss being able to eat tons of food without gaining weight! :p In response to your question, I'm an editor and I haven't filled in for this position before. So far so good! *fingers crossed*

    @catlady1215 I'm only yay'ing cause I've been waiting too :D Thanks!
@blackhottamales Have fun seeing your parents! I hope the one room cabin isn't too uncomfortable, sounds less than ideal, but hopefully it'll be a lot of fun
@zamora_spin Lol, your GTKY name made me gag a little bit.  I dunno, creamy stick pee-er is just a little too much.  Getting your hair done is always nice :)  Have fun tonight!

@SkilledSailor How did we both miss that! haha!
@zamora_spin No, we will probably be moving, so it will be a fun night of packing, haha. Maybe we will go to dinner!
@blackhottamales Yes! I am so excited! I am looking at all kinds of places to go right now. We really want to do an all inclusive! This will be like our real honeymoon, since when we got married we couldn't afford to go somewhere super cool.
@lurvleybunchococonuts Oh I see, well that limbo stage didn't sound like so much fun.

@dukestar5, yes, Lilac Girls is really good! The story of the Ravensbruck "rabbits" is just incredible. I've read a few books about them and about Ravensbruck in general and I really think their story is one more people should know about. I always try to get patrons who loved The Nightingale or All the Light We Cannot See to pick Lilac Girls up next!

WAYDTGKU: Took my last dose of clomid this morning

R/R:  Rant: still on my damn period feels like it will never end. Rave: I have the house to myself for a few hours and can just chillax.

CS/Q: Stupid question but you won't ovulate while still on your period right? Clomid won't make me ovulate before af is gone? Worried that I already have long periods and provera inducing it this month may make it even longer than normal and I will miss my O day.

I changed my username after a GTKY question a month or so ago.  It was color of your underwear and last think you ate.  shout out to @fishsticks-n-custard ?  is that right? my memory is going.

@StephieBears88 I'm not an expert, but if you're on clomid, shouldn't your RE be monitoring with ultrasound to see when you ovulate and ensuring you aren't experiencing hyper ovulation?
