I need some positive thoughts:( had our first ultrasound and should be 7w4d, but baby measured at 6w2d with a slow HB. Dr tried to be optimistic but I can't help thinking the worst. I go back next week for another scan. Longest week ever! Anybody have similar viable babies out there?
I hope everything's okay! I remember DS measured a little behind at our first appointment, but I can't remember how far behind. Everything turned out fine! Sending positive vibes!
Oh, I'm sorry you got a stressful result! Sending a bushel of good thoughts for a growing bean... I hope this week passes quickly and you get good news.

@sparklingdiamond yeah, I actually think I ovulated a day early. Plus I had a positive hpt 5 days before my period. So if I ovulated late, that wouldn't be possible. Ugh, so nerve wrecking!
Yes! This happened when I was pregnant with my daughter. We were very actively TTC and I was tracking EVERYTHING so I thought I was sure how far along I was. We went in for our first scan and I thought I was around 6 weeks. They said all they say was the yolk sac and that I wasn't even measuring 5 weeks. We went back two weeks later to the day and there was our little gummybear, nice strong heartbeat, measuring 8w6d!!I don't know or why it happened but it worked out. Sending T&P that you have a happy ending and it's just earlier than you thought!

I don't have any experience with this but I am thinking lots of good thoughts that everything is ok. Try to be very kind to yourself this week, maybe go get a message or facial or other self-care?
My friend from my first BMB (who is actually currently active in March 18) both of her healthy pregnancies measured a week behind. Though with her first, she was a week late and needed to be induced and she actually suspects the u/s was not "measuring a week behind" but rather, they set her EDD a week too early.

First 2 vaginal US with this pregnancy, baby measured a week behind. First abdominal US & baby was measuring exactly where he/she is supposed to be. My OB said that sometimes it's really hard to get an accurate reading with a transvaginal US if the baby isn't positioned in exactly the right way since they don't have the range of maneuverability that an abdominal US has. I'm currently 14w & baby is doing fine! Good luck!

@rainafire77 I honestly felt like if the baby just moved a tiny bit, it would've measured fine. I'll just have to wait and see. I think the low heart beat is worrying me the most now:(
Had my dating US yesterday and I'm 6 days behind where I calculated my due date. Late O and some stubborn sperm? IDK. Doc and midwife were decidedly not concerned.
I am so sorry to read this, I was afraid to comment earlier because this was how my last pregnancy ended . Sending hugs and thinking of you and your family at this time.
