Hi Everyone,
This is my first time posting. I think I finally just got past expecting a BFP each month and am preparing mentally for a longer haul. I'm sure you've all been there.
A little about me:
- 32
- Have been seeing a fertility specialist for a few months
- "Unexplained infertility", but maybe "mild" PCOS
- Ultrasound showed too many follicles unevenly distributed on ovaries, likely immature eggs says Doctor
- Got tubes flushed
- All blood work normal, insulin is good
- It seems like I am ovulating, which is the confusing part.
-- I get high and peak digital OPK around CD17
-- My temperature is a bit erratic but rises slightly a couple days after peak OPK
- I have a LPD and spot starting at 5 DPO and start period by 9 or 10 DPO
- Doctor says no use in supplementing progesterone if I am ovulating immature eggs
The plan is to start Letrozole and IUI, but unfortunately I have to be out of town for work during the next two cycles. Feeling frustrated.
Shout out to anyone in a similar spot and all those who have been trying longer than I have!
