Am I overreacting?

So my son just turned 10 months. Since hes been born, he's been attached to me and happy to see me. It was a slower bond with him and my partner. We also live with my parents and he adores his grandpa. I've taken a couple side jobs so i havent been home everyday with him and my partner takes care of him but it just seems like now he cries when hes around me, fusses around me, barely lets me feed him, bathe him, etc. It really upsets me cause i dont want it to affect our relationship in the future. Anyone else deal with this?

I would guess it's just a stage. DS is younger 6mo but he went through a phase when DH went back to work ~1mo where he screamed if DH tried to hold him. I stay home with him and I've found now he sometimes is really fussy for me but smiles when he sees DH. At first I was really hurt bc I mean I've sacrificed everything for him but when it really matters he can only be calmed down by me. I think he's just more comfortable telling me he's upset. I bet it's just an adjustment period to you going back and it'll get better. 

Does your Partner swoop in immediately when he fusses ? I was doing that and I think it attributed some to the screaming. Giving them some time to figure each other out helped. It also helped DH to find his own way to play with DS rather than trying to replicate what I did. Good luck!
