They also don't have the weekly updates for baby right. It's always 2 weeks off so I have to swipe 2 weeks ahead to read about baby's growth and than go back to the correct week to read about my symptoms.
I am not looking forward to the glucose tomorrow, I know it's going to make me super nauseous. It's also 28 weeks which means it's time to register with the hospital.
My next work schedule goes to Oct 28th. I know I'm a November momma but I only ever make it 37 weeks which would be Oct 24th. So this will be my last schedule and we will see how it goes working 12s until the end.
We registered at BBB yesterday and I kinda accidentally fell in love with the freaking UPPA baby Vista set. Since this kid is the second they are getting ripped off on everything so I think we are going to splurge and get it and the car seat and the skate board for the back. Bye bye money.
@lancomechica2 how did your glucose test go this morning? Did you manage to pick up your child afterward okay? Also the uppa vista is beautiful i see them all the time on stroller groups on facebook for way cheaper though
@bcashaw I'm mortified at the amount of tv I have watched this pregnancy. I am looking forward to school starting and getting back to my routine again because I feel like a slug.
@mymulligan Preach, sister! Although my pregnant butt did not enjoy waddling the hallways while setting up my classroom the last two days.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
I just scrape my car bumper on a wall going through a drive thru. I just want to go home now cause I feel like it's not going to be a good day. Also I thought I was a good driver til now.
@mymulliganI am fine I just heard the car scrape along the wall. The car is fine too just missing a little paint on the bumper no big deal. My DH laughed at me then told me he would buy paint to fix it. Also the bagel and decaf tea were delicious!!
I am finding I am such a klutz these days. At the grocery store I dropped a jar of Prego in the checkout line while loading the belt, causing a huge mess (I have never dropped anything in a grocery store, much less something so awful to clean up). Then when I got to my car, I realized I may (or may not?) have been parked in a handicapped space the whole time. It didn't have a sign, but the pavement might have been painted blue - it was so faded I wasn't sure - had I been normal I would have just not parked there to be safe but that time I didn't even slightly notice the possibility.
Just finished an incredible documentary on Netflix: "9 Months That Made You." The three-episode documentary follows fetal growth from conception to birth, highlighting different genetic conditions or explaining development stages. It's fantastic! If you have Netflix, I'd highly recommend this series!
My DH and our church friends (and thousands of others) are running the 10 mile Crim in the morning and I'm finding myself a bit jealous I can't run this year!
@curiousfool1 - I started watching last night. I only got through half of the 1st episode but it was fascinating. Looking forward to the seeing the rest. I started getting a little panicky when they talked about the diet during conception desperately trying to remember if I was eating salads around that timeframe!
