FYI: How to add a spoiler box for your signature (or other things)

Hi all! Hope this is okay as a general FYI thread, but I realized this morning that I didn't have a spoiler on my ticker and thought that might be insensitive, especially when commenting on losses, for people to see a ticker, or a child mentioned in my signature, etc, so I quickly searched and figured out how to add a spoiler box for signatures. I assumed this might be good info for other people to have in case you want to do the same? (People who are more Bump savvy than me: if I should put this info elsewhere, let me know! Hope I didn't overstep the board org boundaries, just wanted to spread helpful info and help us all be more sensitive!)

How to add a spoiler box:
1. Type whatever content you want or add a photo.
2. Select only the content you want in the spoiler
3. Click the paragraph symbol button. It looks like this:

4. Click the "Spoiler" button. It'll show up now as a gray box with "..." but only after you post.

People never read that thing anyway so a little redundancy never hurts. Don't worry about it!

Can I add on a helpful FYI? I see some people getting stuck in the quote box. If you're on the desktop version, simply click on the </> button on the tool bar (takes you to the HTML). Go to the end of any text that appears there and type in <br>. Click on the </> button again to take you back to the normal text box and you'll be out of the quote box.

Oh hey it worked! I couldn't figure this out before. TY! I'll have to break out the beast (my laptop.. It was high-school graduation present in 07 so it runs like a turtle stuck in molasses) and fix my signature.

***lurking from March*** I think my spoiler box is stuck open. I went back and tried to fix it in my signature but not sure if it worked. Can someone tell me if it is stuck open?
