Hair down there options

Yes, it's a serious question that I've been wondering about. I am undecided on what to do currently about that situation, especially since I can barely see it.

Do most women leave it natural,trimmed or waxed for birth?

I voted for "shaved" ... But I'm not sticking a razor blade down by my lady bits. I use Nair.

I've never tried Nair down there but if it worked I would vote shaved too!

My husband would not be happy if he knew but I use his head shaving electric shears. I clean them well after but they are quick and easy for trimming.

I shave regularly and remain flexible enough to continue all the way to my due date. I may get a little lazy about it, but I still keep up with it. Honestly it is just personal preference. It bothers me to be unkempt, so I keep it up. My DH couldn't care less, so I'm not doing it for him.

I feel like I would cut myself right now, I can't see beyond the belly and I already feel swollen. If use DHs trimmer, I bought him a nice one and I'm sure he uses it down there so what's the difference?

I voted shaved but I'm very lazy about it. If I shave once a month DH is excited lol! But then again we only get one weekend a month together so why should I try more than that. I'm over due tho and kind of scared cuz I can half see. I can still get my legs on the counter but my back has been acting up a lot lately and my hip joints aren't doing well...we'll see how late I can actually continue trying

If it weren't for the built in seat in our shower for me to put my leg up on, this would probably be getting a lot worse down there

I was curious, I tried to shave the other day and cut myself and honestly said "oh f this!" Out loud. I've tried to maintain trimming but it's scary doing it blind. My own mother made teased me when we were at the OB and they tugged my pants down some and obviously there was fluff hahaha

I've heard waxing is good bc it literally gets rid of everything & u rarely have 2 worry of ingrowns. (Sugar waxing is said 2b safer bc its all natural ingredients while hard wax isn't.) BUT...I've never waxed I've always shaved. Its a b*tch now tho bc I can't see over my belly & I really don't like picking it up to bend over 4 fear of hurting my Unborn daughter or accidentally cutting myself

I switched to waxing a while ago because I was having an allergic reaction to my razor blades.  For years, though, I waxed myself with Parissa brand wax strips.  My pregnancy treat to myself is to go and have a professional take care of the waxing; I couldn't comfortably reach much less see at this point anyway.  It is much better than shaving! 

As far as in-growns, some women are prone to them (me) and some are not.  My aesthetician indicated her experience has been women who were prone to in-growns shaving are less prone with waxing, and vice versa.  My personal experience has been that hard wax used by places such as European Wax Center left me with virtually no in-growns, whereas sugar wax or soft wax left a few.  Still, it's an expense worth paying and one I will probably keep paying even after pregnancy.

After the aerobic exercise that shaving was last week (I swear I broke a sweat in the shower) I will probably plan on waxing from here. Bonus is that I've usually had it last 6 weeks or so in the past, so probably only 2 waxes before the end of pregnancy

ShortStuff5  Well, I am sure it is an option...but probably not one I would consider lol. As much as I secretly enjoy shaving my DH's back (yes, he is a hairy beast), I don't think I would want to ask him to shave my lady parts, lol. 

But hey, if you are comfortable with it, go for it!

Just got waxed and warned DH that this will probably be it for the pregnancy unless he wants to help me out which he is too nervous about.
