Hey ladies! I know there are only a couple of us left on here, but I thought it might be nice to catch up and see how everyone is doing. We are almost there!!!
How far along are you?
How big are babies?
Team Blue, Pink, Purple or Green?
How are you feeling?
Any appointments this week?
R/Rs?
Any Q's?
What are some items on your must have list for the twins/triplets?
How big are babies? Babies were measuring 5lbs 13oz and 6lbs 3oz at my last ultrasound on Aug 3. Hoping they're putting on a bit more weight before the make their arrival.
Team Blue, Pink, Purple or Green? Pink
How are you feeling? Pretty good overall. Can't be on my feet and walk around much as I get too tired, and sleeping is a little hard, but overall I'm doing well. I'm thrilled to have made it this far and that the liklihood of them needing any nicu time is less and less each day.
Any appointments this week? I've been having weekly NSTs and the nurses tell us we have "overachievers." haha, they are doing awesome and meeting the quota 5 mins into being monitored. They're extremely active, so it's good not to have any worries. I also had an OB appt yesterday. I declined a cervical check, and probably will again next week. I was 4cm last week.
R/Rs? I feel ready to be done but also not ready! Babies are both head down so I'm feeling better about our planned vaginal delivery, but I have an induction date set for Aug 22. Really hoping they come before then as my birth experience with my 3rd who came on her own was much better and faster than my previous two who were both induced.
Any Q's?
What are some items on your must have list for the twins/triplets? Nothing really different for what I wanted with my singletons. I picked up my free breast pump earlier in the week, got my double stroller, and think we're as prepared as we possibly can be. I can't believe they will be here in 11 days or less. It's still crazy to realize they're going to hand me TWO!
@daisy62103 omg that gave me goosebumps! I am thrilled to hear you have made it this far in pregnancy and a vaginal delivery is looking good for you since that's what you prefer!! Keeping you and the babes in my thoughts!
@daisy62103 what an awesome update! Sounds like everything is going great for you!!! 11 days.. WOW!!!! That's incredible. So jealous your girls are head down! I'll be thinking about you the next week and half. Please keep us updated!!
How big are babies? I have a growth scan next week, but last month they were measuring slightly above 50th percentile, and they were measuring within an ounce of each other.
Team Blue, Pink, Purple or Green? Blue!
How are you feeling? Feeling pretty good. Some good days, some not so good days. Started feeling a little vaginal pressure, but nothing unbearable. Feet have started to feel really right, like I'm swelling, but nothing visible. Kinda weird. I'm trying to remind myself to take it easy, but I'm so used to being up and moving around that it's hard to just relax with my feet up. Who knew!?
Any appointments this week? Just had one on Tuesday, along with my first of my weekly NSTs. Next Wednesday I see the MFM, then my OB and weekly NST after that. This is the fun part. So. Many. Appointments.
R/Rs? Baby B. Why are you so stubborn!? So he's transverse still. So we have a c-section scheduled for Sept 17th (38+2). Wish I could Labor naturally and go through all of that, but knowing they will absolutely be here by mid-September is pretty exciting!
Any Q's?
What are some items on your must have list for the twins/triplets? I really want to get one of those carriers where I can carry them both at the same time. I loved wearing DD and don't want to miss that experience with these little boogers.
Maybe this will give you hope @cmar1006 ! Baby B was transverse as far back as I can remember, but sometime between my 32 wk ultrasound and 36 wk one, she flipped. And I think it happened later, around 35ish weeks is my guess. My dr was still willing and comfortable to do a breech delivery of B as long as A was head down. Is that not a possibility for you? Regardless, there's still time, and FX he flips if you're hoping for a vaginal delivery.
@daisy62103 that's awesome!!! They won't consider vaginal unless both are head down, unfortunately. I'm ok with it. I've mostly been prepping myself for the fact that I'll have to have c-section as much as I would prefer the latter. Ultimately whatever is best for the three of us is ok with me. We'll see what happens!
@cmar1006 hey! It's been a couple weeks, how're things going for you? How're the NSTs? Do you know if baby b has flipped or still transverse? How're you feeling?
Frustratingly, I am still here. I was scheduled for induction this past Tuesday and have been bumped for the past 4 days.(!!!) We're still waiting to see if they'll get me in today, but it's doubtful. I've been "number one on the list" since Tuesday, so I'm not holding my breath. They said last night i'd "definitely" get in today, but bumped me at 8am, and will most likely bump me again at 11am when we call again. Obviously, I'm not a priority. Very aggravating.
@daisy62103 I'm so glad they finally got you in! Positive thoughts and prayers coming your way for a smooth and safe delivery for you and both babies!!!
Teddy born vaginally at 8:12am, 5lbs 2oz, 17.5" Rhys born emergency csection at 8:4am, 5lbs 1oz, 17.75"
We are all doing well, I'm just exhausted. The boys required 48 hours of extra monitoring because of their age, but they are rock stars!!! I started nursing them Friday and they both took to it like a champ. Excited they will be discharged to me around 9am. I've missed having all the snuggles.
