I'm thankful that I haven't yet caught MH's cough/fever (knocks on wood).
I'm also thankful for our BMB. I feel like people are pretty chill here and are good at supporting each other and sharing opinions etc. without being unnecessarily confrontational.
I am thankful for you guys. I know things started off not so hot but I'm thankful for your forgiveness and I truly love getting to know each and everyone of you and to learn more and more each day. THANK YOU!
I got out of work early today so that I can run errands kids free! I love my babies, but this show runs so much faster when I can just run in and out of places.
Thankful for enough energy to get the kids out to the pool today and it wasn't even crowded, uuuugggghhh we needed that situation today and it was wonderful.

I'm thankful for my manager for being understanding, and letting me work from home today since I wasn't feeling my greatest.

Thankful for my students this year, who - so far- are very chill and pretty much just do what they are told, ask good questions, and seem at least vaguely interested in the things I'm saying. This was truly a gift during this time.
I'm thankful for my mom, who makes dinner almost every night while we stay here until the new house is ready, which means I don't have to cook during this period where I hate food.
I'm thankful for my dad. He dropped all his plans yesterday to come watch DS when I had an unexpected ultrasound scheduled. And then we went to their place for supper. So I'm also thankful to both my parents for making a home cooked meal because they know I've been struggling to feed my family lately due to "morning" sickness.
Today I'm thankful that I was able to complete and entire work day! I haven't worked in 3 weeks because of how sick I've been, and had to go back today. I was even training a new employee and still made it all the way through the day. I'm so so thankful
I'm thankful for my mom. She has been helping me out so much these few weeks. She has even driven 3hrs to come help me. I need to get her some flowers I think...
@antoto that's really cool! I've always liked the idea of year round school but I've never gone to one. Do you think it works better than the usual school schedule where there's 3 months off for summer? I imagine students retain information a little better?

I believe that studies broadly have shown that year round schools are better for retention. I don't have anything to really compare it to because it's the only school I've ever taught at!
