We're vacationing with family in Tahoe. Ethan's having a blast! He went to the beach for the first time and we figured out he hates the sand. Haha. He got to eat his first chocolate chip cookie which he loves. Today's my dad's birthday so here's a picture with Ethan and his grandpa.
Damien and I enjoyed our "Mother/Son" weekend but didn't get to venture out due to bad weather. We found fun things to keep us busy though! Otherwise I don't have much to report. He's becoming more steady on his feet and can walk pretty well with us just holding one hand. We have our family photoshoot this weekend, very excited for that! He's become pretty attached to his stuffed bunny, drags it with him all around the house.
(He laid down because he was tired, naptime, but also still wanted to play)
Jackie has been walking a lot lately. She spent yesterday with her Uncle and Aunt who are visiting from Connecticut. She had a blast dancing and playing with them. She did ok this last weekend on one nap, but I might go back to two for as long as I can just for a happier baby when we have her all day.

Miles has completely given up on walking carefully and just wants to run this week. Sadly that leads to things such as crashing into the walls of DH's truck bed and falling on his back, or getting his feet twisted up around the table and falling forward on his face. Below is a poor picture of his first shiner from the second incident. Looks ok in the picture, but he had a nice 2 inch purple bruise under his right eye. Toddler years, yay Right before nap time watching a Five Little Monkeys video with DH. He requests the song/book constantly by wagging his finger and singing 'no more!'

Sam at Big Truck Day 2017. He is getting more and more steady in his feet and I rarely see him crawl anymore. He is also babbling up a storm, telling me all kinds of stories. I feel like those babbles are going to turn into words really soon!
Alyssa is 14 months today! She is starting to try and run lol it's more of a fast waddle. Her favorite game is catch me if you can lol . She's babbling a lot I am still waiting for her first words! She says mama when she wants me and babbles dada but I'm not counting those as her first words.
Last Friday we went to our local Big Latch On celebration for World Breastfeeding Week, and Monday we went to the Hands on Museum. Both Henry and Oliver and getting steadier on their feet, but only Oliver is brave enough to occasionally let go of support to stand on his own. This morning Henry tried to put his own shirt on with very little success. We have our first family vacation since the twins were born coming up, so it'll be interesting to see how traveling with three kids goes. We traveled a lot with my first, so he's used to flying, but this will be a lot trickier.

Can't believe you are still nursing TWINS! Way to go, mama!!!

Sam is SO cute! Also, I can't tell you how jealous I am that you can keep a hat AND sunglasses on him! You must be magic!
Preston is 14 months today. First molar is the worst but he enjoyed a party at the park with his girlfriend that we through for our stroller boot camp trainer would is moving all the way to CA!
@bankssl1 At the beginning of the summer, he always took them off. But I stuck with it and now he wears them whenever we are outside. He's really good about it.
Lily is the biggest begger for snacks. If daddy is eating it she has to try it. Worse than the dog. she has also taken a few bites of bubbles. They smell like bubble gum. we are working on eating off a plate. Peanut butter toast eggs and sausage. This looks like a lot but she eats 90% of this. Very good eater and then drinks a cup of watered down juice to top it off. Officially in the no more formula club. She would have been done 2 weeks ago but I didn't want to throw out the bag we had left. Yay I love seeing all those kiddos.
We visited the animals at my son's school today and found out Nadia loves pigs (she does an awesome pig snort and wanted to play with her) and is scared of miniature horses.
My my older kids were trying to climb the tree in the front yard
Levi is finally walking, albeit very wobbly still. Just turned 13 months on the 1st. 8 teeth plus trying to push out molars (nasty diaper rash to go with it). Still not saying more than 2-3 words but trying to work on it daily. The pic is from my Dr appt Monday. He sat there quietly for the entire appt, which wasn't long but I was still super happy. He loves chewing the strap on my wallet! ETA: I realize he's barefoot at a Dr office. He had Sandals on at the house. DH was the one who put him in his car seat so I didn't realize until I got there that he had kicked off one of them somewhere at home. So frustrating.
Don't you love how we all had 50 pictures a week when they were little and now most of us are struggling to find one good one from this week???
I actually take a ton of pictures nearly every day buuuut I don't want to be that mom that bombards everyone with a shitton of pictures haha.
I wish I still had that many pictures! I need to take a bunch on vacation this week. I take a lot when I'm home with her all day, but barely ever think to once I'm home from work for the day

My husband makes fun of me because pretty much as soon as I get home from work, I've got my camera or camera phone out taking pictures of Damien doing absolutely nothing in particular. We also just recently received a nice camera so I'm kind of obsessed with snapping good quality pictures now that I have the chance.
So late to the game this week! Work has been kicking my butt! Tristan turned 14 months last Saturday and promptly began to walk on his own and not towards anyone. He walks with his arms up in the air, DH Calls him Frankenstein but to me he looks like a zombie because he makes noise too when he walks.

Sorry for the awful photo. Cam is close to walking and his 3rd tooth. He climbs easily onto furniture now. 14 months tomorrow.
