Midwife next weds! So excited to hear my anatomy scan results... I mean I know nothing major but I want to know how big she is and all that jazz!

I don't think so. It's pretty uncommon for baby #2 around here unless there's a huge age gap.

@kvacmak yay for AS results!  I really loved getting ours. It's crazy how they're actually little people in there with faces and everything!

18 + 5, dd is dec 30, but they won't come past Dec 17

Had our AS yesterday and it was great. Found out the babies are girls. I'm so excited for some
cute blond haired, blue eyed littles (My has and and I both have those features - they could come out different and we'd still love them all the same, of course). Squeal!
I'm a little bummed they're not boys, because I'm a nanny for 4 boys and have been for 9 years and I KNOW boys, but this will be fun too

See above, just settling in to these guys being girls and getting excited about all the cute things that come with them.  I'm on day 5,783 of vacation and I'm just so bored. We're meeting with our cabinet designer today about our kitchen remodel. So we'll be finalizing the design and getting that all finished. Ugh, house renovations don't normally stress me out, but this one does, for obvious reasons. 
Tonight I've got a going away party for a friend moving to Denver, so that should be fun. Although my other friend (maybe some of you remember my bff who had the TW late term loss end TW) will be there and things have been really strange between us lately.  But we're both pretending like everything's fine and it's just getting to be too much. I don't know what I can do anymore.

I am having a shower, but I don't really want to. I always get stressed about my friend groups colliding lol, but it's always fine, so whatever. The only time we can do it is the first week me in Nov, and I'll be like 32 weeks pregnant, which makes me sooooooooooooo nervous. What do you think @wabash15?  Am I crazy?  I really don't know what to do!

AS on Tuesday when we found out it's a girl! I also have an OB appt this Monday, but the AS was with MFM so I already have my results sooo basically it'll just be weighing me, pee test, doppler aka boring.

Rave is that I feel more confident about the movement I've been feeling. I kept thinking maybe it was gas and I was just reading into it, but the MFM doc made me feel better about that. Also I've definitely had gas too and I feel like I can now differentiate for sure.

My best friend texted after I told her the sex and asked when. I basically said I have no idea how this is supposed to work (lol) but maybe October or early November and she agreed. There may also be a shower in the Bay Area thrown by DH's cousin or sisters (or all three) but when we left there a few weeks ago MIL was like, "We'll have to figure out the next time you're coming down and we can throw a shower" and I feel like it should be the other way around. Like settle on a date that works for everyone, not just pick some time to go down there and then they throw a shower. So I really have no idea about that one.

How far along are you?  What's your due date? 20 weeks.  Due December 16.  

Any appointments this week or last? TOMORROW.  Omg it feels like I've waited forever for this appointment.  

Rants/Raves/Questions/Advice (Doesn't have to be baby related)? I'm glad I'm not the only lady who noticed/was sad about the lack of lovetiting over here.  We did it SO MUCH on TTGP, and over here it's like crazy if you get 5 lovetits.  

GTKY: Are you having a baby shower or sprinkle?  If so, when? I am!  My mom is throwing me one back where they live in October.  It's a brunch at a local restaurant.  

I've also got to make a decision about whether I want to have one where I currently live too. I have two people who have offered to help throw me a local one, but neither has a location that they can use.  I feel bad having either of these people front the money to host it at a restaurant. I'm waiting to see if one of them brings it up again (both said something about being excited to plan my shower when I told them I was pregnant), just because I don't want to assume just because they said something in their excitement.  It's a lot of work to plan something and I wouldn't want to push that on someone.  

**TW**  Because most people were are very aware of my previous losses, I would like to be able to celebrate with those who helped me through the dark days.  **End TW**, So I might do a no-gifts Sip and See to formally welcome the baby and allow a little bit of celebration once she's here.

Any appointments this week or last? nope. I have my anatomy scan on monday (hooray!) but we are still team green so I will have to avert my eyes for some of it.

Rants/Raves/Questions/Advice (Doesn't have to be baby related)? I've been feeling pretty good the last week or so which is nice. I have to work extra late tonight so I won't get to see the babies (I know its just one evening but I miss them).  I'm excited about the US, I feel a little bit of movement but its not regular and is fairly muted.  I talked with another STM who said even though she felt the flutters earlier this time she did not feel the strong kicks till much later than with her first. It made me feel better that things are fine and like they say, every pregnancy is different. 

GTKY: Are you having a baby shower or sprinkle?  If so, when? I don't think so since this is the second time around.

@kvacmak I hope its all good news next week.  Its funny that all three ladies are having girls, maybe I'll be the boy
@breezybee good luck with the reno stuff. I'm sorry things are still weird between you and your friend. Hopefully you can keep faking it till you make it. I get that on her end its probably hard to spend a lot of time with someone who's pregnant.  If you were di/di I would say 32 weeks would be fine. Since your mono/di I think there is a higher chance you may go early. On the upside if you do go early you could push the date back a bit and make it a sip-n-see.  even though the twins were term our church ladies threw us a shower but planned it for after the twins were born.

@breezybee sorry your relationship with your friend is still weird. It's really hard that something so happy in your life is putting strain on it like that. *creepy internet hugs*
@MJDsquared we saw an MFM a few times with DS and they are just the most reassuring people on the planet I think. I was really disappointed when we didn't get a read through of our AS with the MFM this time... but i guess that's a good thing! lol
@Tennis11785 I think it would be a really nice idea to get people together you felt supported by to meet babe I'm sure it would make them all really happy to see you and your take-home baby! As for love tits... I tried to google 'love tits gif' for the UO thread.... Yea... don't do that! hahaha Well... I mean unless your hoping for a lot of pornographic gifs! bahahaha I didn't even *think* that would be the outcome when I typed it in!
@wabash15 I'm the opposite! The movements are SO much more pronounced this time around! Maybe it's because you had twins the first time, so you're only feeling half the movement now so it feels less?

Omg @kvacmak I peed my pants laughing at you googling "love tits."  I'm not kidding. I actually peed myself. Thanks for the internet hugs.  It's tough and it really sucks.  Basically, she makes plans with me, and then acts like she'd rather be anywhere else when we're together. It's frustrating. And then I pretend nothing's wrong.

Good points. Im totally scared of early delivery!  I could go at anytime between 30 and 37 weeks. God forbid, but I could!  I guess that would solve my not really wanting a shower problem lol. 
@MJDsquared Yeah the movement thing is tricky. Sometimes I can't tell what's what, but now I just say everything is them for fun.

@kvacmak I wondered that too, if since there were two and I'm nearly the same size with a singleton if they just had less room so I felt it more.
@Tennis11785 I think celebrating with the folks that helped you through your loss sounds wonderful! I can't wait to hear good results tomorrow

@breezybee That's wild that you found out they were girls after being told boys!  I remember your story about your friend. I'm sorry that things are not right between you. I'm not sure what else you could do. Hugs.

Rants/Raves/Questions/Advice (Doesn't have to be baby related)? Nothing major but these progesterone shots are a literal PITA. Seriously, you guys, my rear end is in pain   It gets better just about right when it's time for the next shot.

GTKY: Are you having a baby shower or sprinkle?  If so, when? Nope. Probably just a little gathering after baby is born. Everyone is so spread out, it's just hard to plan things like that.

Our closing date for the home we are buying keeps getting pushed back. Right now the current issue is the title search came back with some things the current owner needs to explain. Im hoping it's resolved quickly because I'm so sick of living out of packed boxes, not being able to find anything and so much uncertainty.

my MIL and sisters are throwing my SIL & I a combined sprinkle this weekend (Sunday). Neither of us likes to be center of attention and both are having baby boys and just 3 months apart so it seemed logical to do it together! Sprinkles are very common in this area although I would have been completely fine without one too. I'm so appreciative they wanted to throw one though.

@Marley629 thanks for thinking of me! The scan went well. Everything looked good, but I have to have another one next month because they did the regular anatomy scan not the "your mom is an old lady" super detailed scan. (Aww darn, having to see this little one again... )    How are you feeling? is the HG starting to subside?

@wabash15 glad the scan went went!! HG is still as strong as ever. I'm thinking it's going to be an entire pregnancy thing unfortunately. my "go-to" foods like soup and crackers aren't even working anymore.  But baby is kicking away so im just praying he's getting what he can.
