Small Essentials for New Mothers?

Hi ladies!  I'm trying to put together a list of essential items for first-time moms and was hoping to get some suggestions.  I'm thinking small items that were really helpful like nail clippers/grooming kit, nose frida, gripe water, etc.  Would you mind listing small items that were helpful to you?  TIA!

Most of the Baby Month Boards have their own lists of registry must-haves. You could try checking those out to make your list.

I may or may not have done that already even though I'm just TTGP.

Small item "essentials," I'd say none of that as a mother of a three-month-old. I used the same nail clippers my H and I use.  I have an old-fashioned sucker ball that I've only used once and it works fine. I hear a lot of people talk about gripe water but I've never needed it. 

So yea, "essentials" will really vary. I bought specific baby body wash and shampoo. Other than that, I can't think of any small essentials I bought specifically for her.
