1. How far along are you?
37 weeks

2. How big is baby?
Romaine lettuce or estimated at 6lb 2oz at yesterday's ultrasound 

3. Any upcoming appointments this week?
38 week appointment on Friday 

4.  Any new symptoms?
none, just constantly tired. 

5. Rants/ Raves/ Questions?
rant: I have zero motivation to do anything to get ready for baby.
rave: My mom came over and helped pickup a good portion of the house yesterday. And she's coming next Friday to shampoo the carpets. Everyone else but me is going through the nesting phase apparently lol. 

6. GTKY: What group would you categorize yourself in when you were in high school (jock, nerd, etc.)? How much has that changed?
I was really big into FFA so all my friends were at students. Now I have fewer friends but we're closer and very different so I don't think I would fit in a high school group anymore lol. I still love ag but it doesn't take up my life.

38 weeks! 

2. How big is baby?
It measured 7lbs 3oz at my 36 week checkup, so I would guess it's close to 8 pounds now.  

3. Any upcoming appointments this week?
Monday for my 38 week checkup 

4.  Any new symptoms?
So tired! And just eager to meet this little baby!

6. GTKY: What group would you categorize yourself in when you were in high school (jock, nerd, etc.)? How much has that changed?
I was kinda in the middle.  Definitely not popular, but not a huge nerd either.  I played sports, was in the band, took honors and AP classes, and has friends and acquaintances from all the different groups.  I would say I'm still like that now.

4.  Any new symptoms? Lightning crotch started this week

5. Rants/ Raves/ Questions? Excited about our birth class today  

6. GTKY: What group would you categorize yourself in when you were in high school (jock, nerd, etc.)? How much has that changed? I fit into most of the stereotypes and was friends with everyone. I played sports, was in honors classes and had some friends that were less than savory. I'm the same way now. I can make friends with lots of different types of people.

Baby's clothes got sorted and put away today!  Yay!

6. GTKY: What group would you categorize yourself in when you were in high school (jock, nerd, etc.)? How much has that changed? Both. I played every sport and was on the academic team, FFA, student council, band... I did it all. Mostly hung out with fellow athletes though.

Rant: None at the moment
Rave: I actually have some energy today! And my shower is tomorrow!
Question:Did anyone do hostess gifts for their shower? A few of my good friends and my mom are throwing mine and I feel like I should get them a thank you, but I'm not sure what. Ideas?

6. GTKY: What group would you categorize yourself in when you were in high school (jock, nerd, etc.)? How much has that changed?
I liked to refer to myself as 'the dumb kid in the smart program'. I was in an intense academic magnet school but still wanted to be a teenager. I got by just fine but definitely wasn't getting straight A's like my freakishly intelligent classmates. And I was in a show choir before it was cool.

@WineAndDogs I gave my friend who hosted my local shower a hostess gift. Her favorite store is White House Black Market so I had a sales associate there help me pick out some jewelry for my friend. That way I knew if she didn't like the jewelry, she could return it towards something else there. But she was super excited when she opened it.

@WineAndDogs I got my hostesses for one shower a gift. I ordered them car charm monograms and I made them homemade bath salts. I had never heard of doing hostess gifts until living in the south. It wasn't a custom that was ever done in the Midwest, so I didn't do it for my shower there.
