Switching Progesterone Brands?

I am switching progesterone brands from Prometrium/Utrogestan to Cyclogest, in combination with Endometrin (which I've already been taking with the Prometrium). Will switching my suppositories to a different brand affect anything?

The new suppositories are 400mg and the Prometrium was 100mg. The total dosage will continue to be 800mg total, daily (I will adjust the dosage of the Endometrin for this).

Your doctor should be answering this, not internet strangers.

I am looking for experiences from others who have changed progesterone brands. But thanks.

@tw2595 I agree that you should ask your doctor, but I experienced spotting when I switched from Endometrin to generic progesterone. As in, I spot every day on the generic (but my HCG and progesterone levels are great), and didn't spot at all with Endometrin. 

I would also hope that your doctor is monitoring your progesterone levels while you're on the suppositories.
