It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
Pretty good, other than still having a swollen left foot. I am feeling a little less anxious now that I have felt some movement and I think what are kicks. It is still quite sporadic, but noticeable.

    4. How is your SO handling everything? Pretty good. Nesting mode continues on.....nursery is nearly done thanks to him.

    5. GTKY: Have you made any appointments for daycare or hospital visits / classes?
We toured 7 daycare facilities earlier this month.  We found one we really like and I am registering next week (spaces are already filled up through December). I need to research hospital classes for birth prep and infant care still.

  • @dragonfly87-2 yay for feeling movement! That's so exciting!!

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?  I'm feeling alright today other than my back and butt hurting pretty bad.  Can't wait to go home and lay down for a little bit

    4. How is your SO handling everything? he's great as always, keeps telling me how he can't wait to hold our LO <3

    5. GTKY: Have you made any appointments for daycare or hospital visits / classes?
My cousin lives in the same town as us and does in home daycare so she will be watching LO after i have to return to work.  We actually have our first class tonight and have scheduled the rest of the classes we want to take - one of them in the next couple weeks will include a hospital tour.

    MC @ 6 weeks 11/2015

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
Sleepy because I'm stayed up watching Big Brother After Dark, but excited that my travel system was delivered. I know it's super early to order but I have up to one year after my due date to make registry returns. I couldn't pass up saving $100 off the regular price.

    4. How is your SO handling everything?
He's starting to get more excited.

    5. GTKY: Have you made any appointments for daycare or hospital visits / classes?
No and no. My daughter was in daycare a couple years, so I know my options. I'm not interested in anymore hospital classes since I'm delivering at the same hospital as before.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes? I am feeling overwhelmed but trying to hang in there.   Still having nausea at night which is getting tiresome.

    4. How is your SO handling everything? He is my rock.  He is getting so excited.  He really wants to be able to feel the baby and he hasn't yet so that's a bummer.

    5. GTKY: Have you made any appointments for daycare or hospital visits / classes?
I feel so behind havent done either but will be signing up for classes soon.

    25 weeks + 1 day

    2. Share any part of your history you feel comfortable sharing.

    - early miscarriage/ CP confirmed by bloodwork August 2016 (4+2)
    - ectopic pregnancy confirmed via blood work and ultrasound September 2016 (5-6)

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?

Overall pretty good. A lot of lower back pain but nothing too bad yet.

Success- I got my first taste of the second trimester energy everyone talks about yesterday (only two weeks left Haha) and I got some things crossed off my list.
With my success comes my struggle- I feel the nesting bug wanting to come out already. With DD1 I went on bed rest at week 30 and went up until week 36 when I just couldn't take it anymore and cleaned the house spotless and she came a week later. I have some anxiety if I let the nesting bug out that we will be having a baby sooner than anticipated.

    4. How is your SO handling everything?

He thinks it is hilarious when he wraps his arms around me and our little girl kicks his arm until he backs away.

I think I relieved some of his stress when my doctor told me last week they don't do bed rest for PTL anymore. That was weighing heavily on both our minds about how we take care of a toddler while I lay in bed for the next ten weeks but he is the kind of guy that if he can't fix something he gets super frustrated and becomes depressed.

    5. GTKY: Have you made any appointments for daycare or hospital visits / classes?

I will continue being a SAHM after our second girl comes so no daycare but hopefully DD1 will be potty trained by winter and she can start preschool.

As for the hospital visits and classes I did not find that they were necessary for DD1 and did most of my research on YouTube. I may however look into the big brother/big sister class for DD.

MC at 7 weeks. Found out at my 12 week appt in October of 2016.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
I feel pretty good. Been experiencing some fatigue again. Some moments I have high energy then others I feel like I'm running in empty. I've been feeling all the kicks which is such a huge sign of relief. Love feeling her!

    4. How is your SO handling everything?
Same as always. Positive, calm and cool. That's how he is with everything in life.

    5. GTKY: Have you made any appointments for daycare or hospital visits / classes?
LO will be going to the same daycare as DS. I didn't take classes with my last. I did with my first though. I won't be taking them this time either but will be touring the hospital since we live in a new state and have never been to this hospital.

  • @angkay711 My hospital lists the classes as for 28 weeks and beyond, so you aren't behind! I just live in NJ and there is competition for everything you need to reserve spots for.
@MKMandeville I will keep my fingers crossed for no preterm labor for you!
@missrekaegle What system did you get? I got my Graco Pace for $100 at Target and used a $50 credit from a previous purchase, so it was $50.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes? Good! Just tired.
Had another ultrasound yesterday and it was so good to see her again. Got some really great 3D face pics!

    4. How is your SO handling everything? He's always good.

    5. GTKY: Have you made any appointments for daycare or hospital visits / classes?
The only class we really need to take is a hospital tour since this is a different hospital than where I delivered my sun. We are signed up for the tour at the end of August. For daycare-- we found a home daycare we like, just not sure if she will have any openings in February when I go back to work. So, we also are signed up at my son's daycare just in case. I really was hoping to get a nanny for the first 6 months or so- so I am still searching for that too.

    2. Share any part of your history you feel comfortable sharing. 2 m/c at 10 weeks - October 2010 and October 2016. BFNs from March 2012 - September 2016. One daughter - born March 2012. Never did actual fertility treatments but have had a lot of evaluations.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes? I feel nervous but grateful.

    4. How is your SO handling everything? Pretty well...but he is distracted so often with work etc. that it's hard to get emotional support sometimes.

    5. GTKY: Have you made any appointments for daycare or hospital visits / classes?
We have him signed up for a daycare that is super safe, clean, etc. but I don't love. It's a fallback at this point so at least I feel like I have somewhere to put him once maternity leave ends. But I want to keep looking.
