Conceive naturally after IVF? Need hope!

So, we just had our baby girl 9 weeks ago after four years of infertility because I have so many issues. Issues are: one working ovary with low reserve, scar tissue on that ovary, a small cervix and my main worst downfall is, I ovulate a week early at 7 days. I'm also 37.5 years old and found out my AMH went down from 0.52 to 0.03. I was pregnant once before after a year and a half trying and it turned into a blob not a baby because the egg didn't get the full two weeks to mature and was released a week early. I had to get a dnc at 10.5 weeks. So I'm afraid to try naturally again mainly for this reason but I know I'm the most fertile now. Any good stories out there to give me some hope?

My cycle changed after my daughter, I've heard a lot of those stories- either becoming regular or in my case became irregular (my daughter was natural textbook, secondary infertility and IVF this time with a blocked tube and weird cycles). 

I have two good friends who did IVF to have twins and then had shocking pregnancies a year-2 years later. Enjoy that baby girl for now but yes I've definitely heard amazing stories!

Thanks I needed that. I'm 37.5 now and I worry more as I get older by the minute. Right now I'm BF so I don't know if I'm ovulating properly or not.

I don't have any personal stories but my RE was pretty clear about using some type of BC after we have the baby. She told us she has had several couples who went through infertility treatments, had a baby and then ended up conceiving naturally shortly after unexpectedly.  She said sometimes it just changes your hormones and cycles.

I have a freind who did IVF and he and his wife had twins. then less than a year later they got pregnant with a successful pregnancy on their own. It can happen but I would not count on it... we did IUI and got twins then tried for a year with no luck and had to do treatments again for this pregnancy.
   If your BF have you gotten a PP? Some ladies get one as early as 6 weeks post partum, I did not until I stopped pumping at 13 months. Kellymom is a great website that has excellent information on BF and cycling.

my husband is hoping for this type of miracle even tho he is the reason we needed to do IVF and im sure nothing has changed with him but who knows...things happen, in the mean time we are on birth control b/c i dont want to be one of those ppl right now

I have a friend who did IVF and then got pregnant with baby #2 naturally. They didn't think they they'd get pregnant on their own so weren't worried about birth control and it just happened. My mom was the same way. She struggled with me, went through fertility treatments and then got pregnant with my brother naturally 1.5 years later. Even my RE said he had plenty of women get pregnant on their own after going through IVF with #1. It definitely happens.

I think it really depends on the cause of your infertility. I also have a close friend who didn't ovulate due to pcos and had a child with IVF and afterwards started having a regular cycle. But she didn't conceive because her husband also has a low sperm count.
I'm currently 5 weeks postpartum and guess I need to think about birth control which feels crazy after years of trying and failing to get pregnant the old fashioned way!

Breastfeeding is a great birth control. So they say lol I went for a checkup with my RE and I haven't ovulated yet lol

@LSatturo126 Breastfeeding CAN stop you from ovulation but it doesn't stop everyone so I wouldn't rely on it completely!
