A little jealous

In my BMB there's women barely out of their 1st trimester that are already discussing baby showers, announcement photo shoots, maternity photo shoots, how they've booked a birthing photographer, are buying maternity clothes and baby gear and some haven't even had their first US yet! 

I'm just over here praying I make it another week and that there's still a heartbeat when I go on for 10w follow up US. I just feel so jealous that they're all carefree and happy while my husband and I are afraid to discuss the baby amongst ourselves for fear we'll jinx something.

I am also in your BMB--and my brain is working very much like yours.  It amazes me that people get so carried away without even having an ultrasound.  But their experience is not our experience.  We know the struggles, disappointment, and sadness because we have lived it.  

Remember, today you are pregnant.   When is your follow-up?  Sending you positive thoughts and peaceful vibes!

@magnolia305 Next Thursday. US and, if all goes well, I'll get my appts for NIPT since I'm 40.

@rainafire77 I can completely understand that. I take every week as a blessing because it's so uncertain sometimes. With my first pregnancy, there was a really cute baby swing that I bought on clearance at Target and I was only 8 weeks in, so I guess I get the excitement. Still a little bit too much overplanning with the photographers, though.
