If you are a contributing member with a BFP this week, please share your success with us here!
How do you know if you're a contributing member? 1. Ask your heart. 2. Do these people know you? Will they be happy about your pregnancy? 3. Have you offered support to others or have you just blasted your own info out there? 4. Really, if you're a 1/1 or a 2/2 and it's not like you were around when you were benched or prior to TTC, maybe just move on. Even if you have participated daily for a month and offered tons of support. Sometimes the silence is kindest. Those of us who lurk BMBs, we'll see your intro and PM/comment/love tit. 5. Again, take a moment and step away from your excitement and ask your heart if posting would be potentially hurtful. ---------------------------------------------------------------
This thread has mild restrictions - thread is primarily BFP announcements but does allow for direct questions or lengthy/personalized congrats in the comments. Use the "Love It" button for "congrats!", "H&H 9 months!", "I was hoping this was your month!" and other short & sweet notes.
Regular board rules apply - this is not the place to ask if you are pregnant based off your symptoms or for second opinions on your tests. We do invite you to contribute in the daily TWW and WTO threads and discussions. This community gives back tenfold what you put into it!
When you see somebody who has possibly violated a guideline of this thread, please quote the section of these guidelines and include a callout to the poster, but keep snark to a minimum as these rules can be subject to opinion. If you have a post called out, please edit your offending post to add a note that you've been made aware of the rule and will keep it in mind in the future (if you are being asked to change wording due to unintentionally offensive phrasing, please remove that part of your post with a note of "EDIT: Removed offensive phrasing). Remember: this thread is not a tribunal. Continued arguments and defenses about a post have no place here and are considered off-topic. If you would like to make an argument for or against a rule, please create or update a META thread to discuss.
CD/DPO of first BFP?
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP?
What did your chart look like?
What were you doing TGKU?
How was your timing?
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)?
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? Next month would have been our 1 year rollover, but we had taken a couple of months off, and *TW* had 2 MCs in there, so it was 7/7 TTC. I only joined the board after the 2nd MC, so I've been posting on here since early May. */TW*
What did your chart look like? Here it is:
What were you doing TGKU? PNV, OPK, BBT and this month I added pomegranate juice before O and pineapple after O.
How was your timing? We were travelling during most of FW, with no privacy, so when we got home we humped twice on what wound up being O day!
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? Plenty of fodder for the BSC, but really nothing that I would have probably noticed or thought twice about if I wasn't SS so hard. But, just to fuel the BSC for you all: basically starting CD 11: twinges and pinches in my lower abs, a little indigestion, peeing more, feeling extra tired/napping. Starting CD 12 - I was crouching down in the sun and when I stood up I got super lightheaded/almost fainted, one of my wrists hurts like I fell on it/sprained it except that I didn't DO anything (I can't imagine how this would be connected, but I can't figure out what would cause it otherwise) and super uncomfortable sleeping - achy/painful hip joints especially.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? We were snuggling in bed after I tested, so I just put his hand on my tummy and told him that hopefully the third time's the charm.
Anything else to add? Just that I am so incredibly grateful for the support I've gotten here over the past few months. I don't have anyone to talk to about any of this IRL, and having this community has probably saved my marriage (jk) and my own sanity (not kidding). This board is such an incredible resource and wealth of information - keep up the good science everyone! I will miss you very much, and I'm going to need some company on the April BMB, so I'll be lurking and hoping for lots more grads!

@hedgepig Congratulations, that's AMAZING news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've only gotten to know you a little bit this month in the TWW thread but I'm so happy for you! Wishing you the best with this pregnancy.
@hedgepig Cycle day buddy!!!! I had everything crossed for you yesterday!! So, so happy! And hope that you have the most amazing happy and healthy 9 ahead.
CD/DPO of first BFP? 29/15 (I didn't try testing early)
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 15 cycles.
What did your chart look like? I didn't temp because it was my first medicated cycle.
What were you doing TGKU? Femera, Ovidrel, Progesterone, and Preseed
How was your timing? -5, -4, -2, O, +1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? I didn't have any. The only reason I tested today was to make sure I could stop my progesterone. I then proceeded to take 4 more tests to make sure it wasn't a fluke. I've already been in for a beta, I'm just waiting for the results.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? He knew I was testing and after 15 months I told him right away. No fancy announcement.
Anything else to add? You ladies have been my saving grace in my hard and low times. Your support means more to me than you can imagine. This is a great group of women and I'll be forever great full. I hope you all follow me soon.
Eee!!! Congratulations @hedgepig and @mispanda! What an amazing way to start the week! I'm so happy for both of you

CD/DPO of first BFP? There was a line in the evening of 6dpt! IF has made me super skeptical so I decided to wait for my first beta before posting. It came in today at 228 (11dpt) and FINALLY FEELS REAL!!!
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 17 months and almost as many cycles.
What did your chart look like? I am an advocate for charting but I stopped after the first medicated cycle. This was an IVF chart so it is just a lot of meds.
What were you doing TGKU? It was a looong journey to get here doing all the things - months and months of TI with charting then three failed IUIs. Ultimately, my BFP was the result of IVF FET #1.
How was your timing? Well, perfect ha!
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? I had mild cramps the day of the transfer and again the following day. At 2dpt I had stronger cramping and I was absolutely exhausted. The fatigue continued from there with a daily, mild headache. I had a migraine on Saturday/Sunday which was terrible but I am now back to just being tired. I also had sore boobs after transfer but I usually do in the TWW so I didn't really count that as a symptom. Honestly, I have felt every "symptom" in the last 17 months so I talked myself out of all of them being real.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? Well, my H and I had overlapping trips last week so I actually POAS and then Facetimed as the test developed because I could not hold out any longer. There was nothing normal about it but it was still special. Before I left for my trip, I left a onsie I had purchased back in March of 2016 with a digital test and a note telling him that was how I had intended to tell him I was KU originally. Life took us in a different direction... and one that was really, really difficult AF at times... but I think it brought us closer and made us stronger. So, for that I am grateful.
Anything else to add? I am going to miss TTGP. I have made a lot of friends here and I love you all so, so much. You carried me through worry, despair and laughed with me on the good days. I honestly believe I would have been lost without you all (or still floating around the internets googling "toe hurts pregnant?"). Thank you for sharing your knowledge and your lives with me. I will be stalking you all... especially my IF ladies... and looking for your BFPs! Let's keep this KU trend going!!
