P&G because I get to paint a friend's house today.
Month/Cycle: NTNP
CD: 19
WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNV
R/R: I just really would rather go back to bed right now, haha.
CS/Q: I just don't know what's going on with my chart this month. I'm just assuming I won't get CHs, and then I'll get to start fresh next cycle and temp vaginally for more accurate temps. I'm pretty sure my CPAP doesn't mesh well with BBT tracking.
GTKY: What is your favourite thing about yourself? (Physical and/or non-physical.) Physically, my favourite thing is my lips, or my eyes. Non-physically, my favourite thing would be my ability to be everyone's "shoulder" to cry on and bounce ideas off of. It's nice to know that my friends/family trust me and my advice enough to come to me when they need to.
WAYDTGKU: Ubiquinol fat-soluble, so I get to gorge on almonds. Because that's how it works, right?
Rave: I'm listening to the Positive Psychology Podcast and loving it so far. It's a bunch of academics and clinicians talking about the science behind it. There was an episode on optimism that really hit home, when the host explained that the pushback people experienced towards optimism filled a certain psychological need.
Rant: I didn't get much sleep, but what I did get happened with my mouth wide open. I think it will be vaginal temping for me too next month.
CS/Q: Still bouncing around with not much happening.
GTKY: What is your favourite thing about yourself? (Physical and/or non-physical.)
I don't really know, but here's some stuff I like:
Physical: I have a nice figure. I'm tall and lean, and it suits me. My walk is floaty.
Non-physical: I can be wrong. I can learn. I have a pretty deep capacity for kindness.
R/R: Rant: It was so hot here yesterday and today isn't looking any better. Rave: Going to meet some friends at one of the museums downtown this afternoon. Haven't seen them in month!
CS/Q: I'll see if I can figure out how to post a picture of my chart with the Ava temps. Tried to do @jrm_14 's idea and temp with a BBT to compare to Ava but didn't get a good block of sleep prior to waking up this morning so that went out the window.
GTKY: What is your favourite thing about yourself? (Physical and/or non-physical.) Physical: I have nice eyes and my natural hair color is beautiful (plus my hair is super thick and wavy) Nonphysical: I like that I'm fairly intelligent and I try to be kind and considerate of others.
Me: 35, Hubbie: 33 Married DH: 2013 DD: Dec 2015 BFP 8/14/17 --> Due 4/27/2018
R/R: It's Sunday and H just announced he's making pancakes for breakfast! Y'all, We've been together for three years and this is the first thing he has learned to cook well. I'm pretty stoked.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What is your favourite thing about yourself? (Physical and/or non-physical.) Physical: It's not natural but I'm loving my grey hair. It feels very "me" and brings out my blue eyes. Non-Physical: I have a strong moral compass, as H puts it. I always try my hardest to do what is right.
@izza2 You are up super early! When you're finished painting your friend's house, feel free to help me with mine!
@_darth Those podcasts sound interesting! My degree is in psychology. That combined with my hippie, yoga loving nature has made the power of positive thinking particularly captivating to me. Have you found yourself implementing things you learned from it?
@fishsticks-n-custard Hanging out with friends at a museum sounds like a lovely way to spend a Sunday! What kind of museum is it?
@_darth That podcast sounds interesting! I'm in psychology, but I tend to research the negative stuff (prejudice, aggression, etc). Do you remember who the psychologist was who was studying optimism? I know someone who was looking at hope vs. optimism a couple years ago, so I'm curious if it was her!

CS/Q:
GTKY: What is your favourite thing about yourself? (Physical and/or non-physical.) Physical - green eyes, height (I'm pretty tall) Non-physical - intelligence, curiosity
R/R: rant - I'm at work and it's Sunday. rave - Don't have to stay at work long thankfully. Got into an internet "argument" with an idiot on my dad's FB post last night, it was actually quite hilarious. It kinda went downhill after the guy's argument was to make no logical sense and then refer to me as a hideous beast. ROTFLMAO Guess he didn't like my troll gif game Rawr! Oh yeah, plus I got some AM booty, so I'm in a good mood
CS/Q: nah, not yet, finally stopped bleeding so gonna start temping for the cycle tomorrow morning
GTKY: What is your favourite thing about yourself? (Physical and/or non-physical.)
Physical: I like my eyes (blue) also I have a LOT of forgiving hair, it's turning grey so that'll be fun Non-physical: I have a pretty good sense of humor and I'm empathetic. I can easily put myself in the other person's shoes and see their sides of things (might not always agree, but I can respect/understand it). Also, I'm smarter than I act/seem, sometimes life is just easier that way
@izza2 Have fun painting today! I actually like painting

@darkstar42 Volunteering always feels like a great idea at the time, doesn't it. At least you're making a difference! Have you done political volunteering a lot?
@Stargazer1lily Happy cleaning! Have you read "the life changing magic of tidying up?" It's a great read for organizing.
@lurvleybunchococonuts never argue online! I read a quote that it's like playing chess with a pigeon because your opponent will "knock over the pieces, poo on the board, the strut about as if he's won" or something like that.
R/R: another day of relaxing by the pool. First world problems but rant-- on the island, dinner reservations at our fav restaurants book up fast. One of the perks of our time share is that we let the concierge know where we want to eat and they make reservations. Well they called today and said they made the reservation but called to confirm today and they can't find it and would book a new one. And then for another restaurant, we found its relocating so it's closed til next year. Womp womp.

this is is really hard for me physical: my legs. They're long and lean non-physical: my ability to think the best of everyone until proven wrong
@glitzandglitter thank you! They're surprisingly easy. I'm going off the idea that is my classroom is bright and pretty, the kids will all listen to me. Its never worked before, but maybe this time.
@purplg8r I love the not judging/thinking the best thing, the world needs more of that.

I was able to see a clear shift last time I used it.
CS/Q: hopefully soon. Right now it's boring.
GTKY: What is your favourite thing about yourself? (Physical and/or non-physical.) hmm this is kinda tough for me... physical - eyes I guess. They're brown which is common but everyone tells me they're huge so they stand out. And I have a disproportionately big butt. That's good and bad, it depends. Non-physical - I can "hang" with the guys, which is great in a male-dominated industry.
@lurvleybunchococonuts@glitzandglitter@SkilledSailor@paleoprincess The volunteering wasn't bad at all! Signed some people up to vote, ate some good food, and wandered around a street festival. I haven't done much political volunteering, other than some phone banking before the presidential election. The current political state makes me feel like I need to get out there and do something, even though it can be uncomfortable.
@_darth - I'm totes a mouth breather, but that's every single time I sleep. I tried vaginal temping one cycle and it didn't work well for me. @purplg8r Yes, that's a first world problem but I'd be annoyed by that too. How's your trip going, otherwise?

Sorry to revive yesterday's thread at 5:30 pm, but I kinda posted and ran yesterday. I won't lie to you ladies. I got into Outlander for the first time, there were hot people, and then it was somehow past midnight and I was still stuck to the TV.
@SkilledSailor Definitely implementing the things I learn in small steps - it's a good/natural addition to CBT and kinda balances me out, I guess. Right now, I'm keeping a gratitude/achievement journal that has been really beneficial in breaking some toxic thought patters I've been taught or picked up.

@SkilledSailor Thank you!
