How far along are you? 
19 weeks, woohoo 1/2 baked! I'll have a scheduled  c section at 39 weeks, if not before. DD came at 38.3 due to high BP. 

How big is baby?
Size and of a mango, almost 6 inches (crown to rump)

anatomy scan 7-26- praying baby girl looks

Any new symptoms or changes/how are you feeling?
 I haven't felt well this week. We have 10 people coming from out of town for DDs party tomorrow and they will stay with us. I have to feel better and get my house cleaned. Oh and this left nipple, I swear it hurts so badly when the headlights are on. Haha. Same thing with 
DD1.

I can't believe my baby is almost 2. 

GTKY: What is your go-to ice cream flavor?
im not huge on ice cream but my favorite is probably turtle tracks or moose tracks. See now I want to run to the store and buy some.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I finally have a bump! I've been having a lot of back aches which is no fun. 

GTKY: What is your go-to ice cream flavor? I'm boring, but I love plain chocolate ice cream.

How big is baby? As big as an endive? ... Weird. Well, transitioning from fruits to vegetables must mean he's growing, right?

Upcoming appointments this week? Nothing til the 31st.

Any new symptoms or changes/how are you feeling? It's been a pretty good week, but I am so super sensitive to heat this summer that I'm dreading August.
 
Rants/Raves/Questions? We visited our best friends in SF this past weekend, and got a lot of great advice and hand-me-downs from people who parent like we hope to parent.  Also my snoogle came, and so I'm less achey when I wake up.  DH & I feel so smart because we took the dog for a walk with the stroller (which we just bought) and figured out BEFORE the baby gets here that we will have to actively train her on this. So now we've got an excuse to go for short walks (training the dog) which is helping me be motivated to get my step count out of "sedentary" realm.

GTKY: What is your go-to ice cream flavor? Mint chocolate chip.  It's been my favorite since childhood.  Bonus: DH hates mint, so I never have to share.

@ktcakes87 Oh man. That would have be way funnier. She's pretty unsure about this wheeled monstrosity joining her walks, so she's not interested in being close enough to it to get buckled in... yet.

Upcoming appointments this week?
I have to go on Tuesday for another ultrasound, as they couldn't get one specific heart measurement when I was in on Monday. I'm on a stand-by appoint, which means they'll see me anywhere between 12:30 and 4:00 that day... ugh! I hope I'm in earlier, but planning for a long wait. My doc told me there is nothing wrong with the heart, but they just need to check this one angle of it off their list. Baby was just in the wrong position.

Any new symptoms or changes/how are you feeling?
Super incredibly tired this week. My belly is getting bigger and bigger, and I'm feeling it big time! I do love it though. Also, legs cramps throughout the night. Otherwise, feeling good.

How big is baby? Artichoke. 5.5 inches.

Upcoming appointments this week? Nothing this week. My anatomy scan is in 2 weeks which is exciting.

Any new symptoms or changes/how are you feeling? I have a small bump now . 
 
Rants/Raves/Questions? I am still nauseous when I enter the kitchen which had made it challenging to cook. I enjoy cooking and it is disappointing to not be able to have home cooked meals everyday like I used to.

Upcoming appointments this week? I had my 20 week u/s today, and baby was moving like crazy in there! The tech was having a hard time getting the pictures she needed because the baby was so wiggly. At one point it looked like she took her feet and pushed off the side of my uterus. The tech said it was probably due to the 1 cup of coffee I had before I came in. Kind of makes me re-think drinking coffee if the caffiene effects her like that.

Any new symptoms or changes/how are you feeling? I'm feeling amazing right now
 
Rants/Raves/Questions? We finally cleared out the room that will be the nursery, and I am sooo ready to start picking out all the things we will need for LO. I had to get a "mom car" on Monday, traded in the Challenger for a Ford Escape. It's exciting to start checking things off our list.

GTKY: What is your go-to ice cream flavor? Chocolate! Or chocolate with oreos. Yum I've had ice cream 3 times this week ... oops

Any new symptoms or changes/how are you feeling?
 I've actually felt human this week!!! No vomiting since the weekend and I had a few bursts of energy. 
My boobs have been sore again though. DH playfully grabbed them last night and I screamed at him lol (to be fair I had told him like 2 hours before that they were killing me) 

Rants/Raves/Questions?
My rave is that I feel so much better. And my rant is that work has been sucking. I have (should say had*) a staff of 25...I've had a total of 4 resignations in the past 2 months, 3 of them being in the past 3 weeks and one of my staff members was in a terrible accident and has been in a coma since mid-June...we are also on a hiring freeze so replacing these positions has been like pulling teeth.  Finally received approval to replace 2 of them...it's been incredibly frustrating and hard to staff all the areas I need to staff. And to top it off one of my trouble employees was a no call no show today and this will be her final write up and I have to terminate her Monday.  She totally deserves it and has had a lot of chances but still I feel terrible for terminating her. Looks like I will not be taking any time off before I have this little guy like I had planned and that I will be working from home during my maternity leave.   Sorry for the vent! I'm just so fed up this week.


GTKY: What is your go-to ice cream flavor?
i am as boring as it comes with ice cream -  i just like plain vanilla.  Sometimes I get a little crazy and get chocolate sprinkles lol

Just so you all know. I took my pregnant self down to sonic In the 100+ degree weather and got me a sonic blast!!!!! Yum!

Sorry I'm late to the show his week, we are on vacation and service is spotty 

How far along are you? 20 weeks, halfway and nearly to viability! 

How big is baby? A banana

Upcoming appointments this week? none, but had our anatomy scan on Monday. After waiting an hour past our appointment time (without a single - sorry for the wait from anyone), we were called back and treated rather rudely by the MA, then the tech was obviously rushed, which annoyed me, but you could tell she was trying to still make it special. The bottom line is that baby is fine, which is the important part! As of right now my placenta is on top of my cervix, the OB thinks it will move before delivery, but I know that doesn't always happen, so I'm trying to keep my birth plans flexible. 

Any new symptoms or changes/how are you feeling? the fatigue train just won't quit, and now I'm nauseous at night. I know this won't last forever so just going with it for now. 
 
Rants/Raves/Questions? When we got to our vacation rental I cried like a spoiled brat, the location is terrible. Then I complained like a toddler on a hike we did (in my defense it was an 8 mile hike, that started with a black bear on the trail!), my SO wanted to go to a viewpoint before dinner, but I refused to go until we ate something. After dinner we sat on a bench looking over the ocean and he proposed!! He's been threatening to propose for nearly 2 years, so I was shocked that it actually happened, I had no idea and after I'd been such a pain! 

GTKY: What is your go-to ice cream flavor? Anything with gooey stuff in it! Especially marshmallow.

Upcoming appointments this week? Yes, our anatomy scan is Friday! Yay!  

Any new symptoms or changes/how are you feeling? The heartburn and shortness of breath has set in.  I'm surprised it waited this long! 
 
Rants/Raves/Questions? I was in a wedding this weekend.  It was 85 degrees, full sun, and humid and outside. I'm just really happy I got through the ceremony without passing out.  I tend to get light headed!

GTKY: What is your go-to ice cream flavor? Anything with caramel, peanut butter, or cookie dough usually. If it's from like DQ or something usually oreo or butterfinger. 

congrats @PoeMasque I'm waiting for a ring too. After 5 years together and 2 kids, it still doesn't seem any closer! 

@kater622 I have a small cup of coffee every morning.  I figure that is fine it's within the suggested limit. Also, my boys came home on monitors for sleep apnea issues and we had to give them a dose of caffeine every day. It helps with brain stimulation and other things, so I figure a small cup of coffee is completely fine since caffeine is used in preemies often!

@tmk0325 Thanks for pointing that out about caffiene. I felt like the ultrasound tech was kind of shaming me, but I guess she was just doing it because it made her job difficult.

@ktcakes87 i wish I liked wedding planning, but I'm dreading it! I was hoping to convince my man to do a "surprise" wedding at our baby shower, but he is having none of that. He wants to wait until next year and have a "real" wedding. 

@tmk0325 my SO was the one who insisted we be married before having kids....but after 14 months of trying, then IVF I figured that had been an empty threat. I'll be honest, when I explained that we couldnt both claim the baby on our taxes he seemed much more motivated haha.

@PoeMasque I was in the most unorganized unplanned DIY wedding this last weekend and the take away we all said was the bride should of hired a wedding planner or at least a decorator. Spend the extra money and make it less stressful on yourself with a newborn (if you wait til next year!). I like the idea of a surprise wedding, that would be fun!

How big is baby? The size of a Banana. Well a 14oz banana since that is what she measured yesterday.   

Upcoming appointments this week? None for 4 weeks

Any new symptoms or changes/how are you feeling? Nothing new really. Just wanting to rest and relax...feeling a bit tired since I wake up a lot at night now. And I am still having on/off food aversions...mostly to anything meat/chicken.
