I really want Ritz cracker chips- the sour cream and onion kind. The hubby offered to pick up some yesterday and I told him not to worry about it. I'm regretting not having him get them. I've been craving them for a few days now.
@gilsam1 how funny!! I will for sure have to pick some up tomorrow, they are so good. I'll probably eat a whole bag in one sitting, no shame. I wish they were a little cheaper
@fivetimesnoluck I hadn't really wanted to do a gender reveal party, I'm usually too pragmatic for most parties anyway but I'm excited for you to have one after reading your explanation. I hope you share pics. To be honest, I always thought they were a Pinterest kind of thing and I have a 100% failure rate of all things Pinterest. I plan to find out the sex and I would like to do something cute for my kids, my son is almost 4 so he will get a kick out of it.
@fivetimesnoluck I loved hearing your thoughts and feelings and completely agree. I 100% support the LGBTQ+ community, have several friends who are transgender and nonbinary, and as a therapist, have worked with a lot of transgender youth. I label it as finding out the sex, not gender. I'm not a big party thrower, but I still love the idea of celebrating each step of a pregnancy. I was super excited about finding out the sex too, and I'm just doing something small to let all the grandparents know. But party away if you want to! I hope you share some pics of your celebration @fivetimesnoluck
@trudytudy HA! Your comment about the Pinterest fails is soooo me. I would never try to pull something cutesy off by myself. That is so not me. As long as Pinterest has been around, I have told anyone who asks me if I use it, "No, I don't cook, clean, or decorate - why would I subscribe to a site that is just going to make me feel like a domestic failure!?" I am also not on FB, so I really don't have any incentive to "out-do" anyone.
This party is just about us and the babe and our awesome circle of supportive friends and family.
@fishee333 Thanks! I will share something from the party afterwards - most excited about sharing whether I am carrying a boy or girl!
