@clc515, we have not announced yet either, at least not on Facebook or any social media. I do not know why I have waited exactly, but I want to wait until after the A/S as well. We do not know what we are having yet though. I will say, the ultrasound was wrong for my sister, so even that is not 100%, but if the ultrasound is the same, then it is pretty good odds they got it right. I did not realize the blood test was still wrong 10% of the time.
I still have no idea how I want to announce. I will probably not end up doing much since I am putting way too much thought into it. I was thinking of having my son hold a onesie saying Little Brother or Little Sister. The only problem with that is that my son hates getting his picture taken and most likely will not cooperate.

I feel you! I had a few wonky genetic tests a while back so the good anatomy scan (and quad screen results) calmed my nerves quite a bit. I'd have been okay not posting on social media but DH (and my mom, an actually whole family haha) is sooooo excited lol.
Lol you can wait til your son is sleeping then move him around like a prop like in newborn pics? :-D I'm so bad.

Haha! Him being a prop would be hysterical! He would probably sleep right through it. He sleeps through smoke detectors going off. I should totally pose him like a newborn shot and say new model coming February 2018. He is 5, so it would be quite comical.
Hello! I posted an introduction yesterday so I hope it's okay that I jump in here. We didn't announce to social media until week 21 but I'm super relived that people finally know. Keeping a secret for this long has been hard!

That is great! For a minute i thought you were all wearing bobble head masks, and then i realised it was stickers! Haha so cute!
Thank you so much for the warm welcome @chucksmom15 and @ash0625 @mamaof5already I wanted to 'bobble' out my son's face, Internet Security and all...then it just looked weird so I downloaded an app and made us a cute lil' bobble head family
@amb929 Out of curiosity, what app is it? I think people have used snapchat to alter pics but I'm terrible at snapchat for some reason. It's just not intuitive!

@eggplantface I used a free iPhone app called insta emoji. I'm not super tech savvy but this was pretty easy to operate. You take the photo you want to emoji-ify and then you drag and drop whatever sticker you want to place on there. It took less than 5 seconds and then it saves a version of that photo with the stickers to your computer/iphone/the cloud etc. Hope that is helpful! I hate snapchat so much (maybe that's a good one for unpopular opinion?!) so I preferred to do it this way!

We finally announced on Facebook over the weekend. It hasn't been a secret in a while. We live in a dorm and I see a lot of my classmates at the hospitals (I am a med student) and I'm totally showing off my baby bump. Close family and friends was told before I started showing. But we announced with this picture (the happiest part of my day is getting home and having hubby tell me he loves his babies -me and baby- and kiss us and I thought I'd change up the classic belly kiss pic a bit) and the caption was "My two most important"
