We never made it to our friends' cottage on Saturday due to all the rain but we did make it to Montreal's comic con on Sunday with our friends. The costume fiasco worked itself out and Damien looked pretty darn cute. He did surprisingly well considering he only had a morning nap and no afternoon one. He's currently a little speed demon with his VTech sit-to-stand learner walker thingie but can't walk on his own just yet. We're off the bottle at this point and also fully on cow's milk.
Happy Wednesday! Ethan is walking well and babbling a lot. He's developed some major tantrums though -- he totally fake cries when he doesn't get his way. We're also still dealing with the hitting he does (slapping faces). Oye! This should be fun . Lol
His hair is is too long, it's official. He needs a haircut. Now getting my husband to focus and schedule one. Because this whole thing has way too much politics in it for one haircut.
In other news, vocabulary is expanding. He uses momma and dada correctly, but almost always in a screech, even when what follows is normal volume. I've heard more, light, buh-bye, and outside, but not consistently

At first glance, I swear I thought his shirt said, "Fart Sexy," and my immediate thought was, "I need that shirt," and that it's perfectly acceptable attire for church in my opinion....In my defense, I didn't get much sleep last night.
Well my Android phone is being a butt and wouldnt let me post photos today. I guess you will just have to take my word for it that Cameron is super cute! I will amend my post with a photo if I can figure it out.
Jack has figured out how to make silly faces for the camera, and I'm loving it!! Not much talking, other than babble and mama and daddy, hes trying so hard to walk and will take about 10 steps but he's not confident yet, he's also a little top heavy

Love it! His expressions are so cute. The bottom two are definitely my favorites!
I love putting my phone on "selfie" mode, hitting the video button, and giving the phone to Damien. He thoroughly enjoys watching himself on camera and the videos he ends up capturing at just too funny.

thank you!! I do the same with the videos, its pretty hilarious and he loooves looking at himself. We also spend alot of time looking in the mirror!
@vintagevix2016@bankssl1 you both need to get Snapchat, if only to watch your LO's reaction to being turned into a dog and having a tongue come out when they open their mouth. Jackie loves it!

Jackie's hair is finally long enough to do little pigtails. Unfortunately it's so fine they don't stay in very long, but they're adorable while they last. She also tried her hand at some corn on the cob this week. No real luck, but she does like corn. She's starting to take steps a little more often, but still not walking more than a step or two at a time.

Another busy week enjoying this beautiful weather! Both boys are now cruising around the furniture and figured out how to drink water out of cups. I think they're both getting more teeth since they are drooling like crazy and were fussy last night.
Lily enjoyed orange slices for the first time. She got her first set of pig tails this week and has started standing completely unassisted. She sleeps so funny all crunched up and snuggling her water bottle. Love seeing these kids grow. I want to see bumps. I know some of you have got new buns baking. Please show.

Sorry a little late here. We have been working with Tristan on using utensils for eating. It has been very entertaining for us. He takes a couple steps on his own but is not confident yet to really get going. He loves or ceiling fans and constantly points at everything and makes a noise. He has started saying mama, but I think it is related to food not me. Mostly just new sounds.

He looks like a pro to me! I'm also amazed that the bowl doesn't immediately end up on the floor. I have to put soups and such directly on Damien's tray, otherwise the bowl/plate/whatever is taking a flight.
@vintagevix2016 the tray and bowl are magnetic, which works for awhile. DH just had to have the 4Mom's high chair... He is a sucker for commercialism. Last night he was having fried rice and when he would get food on the spoon he would be jamming it so hard against the side of the bowl, that when he pulled up everything would bounce off the spoon!! Funniest thing I saw all day.

Magnetic, holy crap! The possibilities. Our high chair chair has a snap off top for easy cleaning. Now I just want to glue rows of magnets to the base of the tray and button magnets to the bottom of his bowls...

We have the same high chair but Ethan hulks all the stuff off the tray (magnetic bowls and plates). Lol. Good concept though.
The key is to feed them food that makes their hands super slippery and then they can't grip it! Lol... At the end of dinner tonight the bowl ended on the floor. Just can't win them all.
I wanted that high chair so badly! If I remember correctly it wasn't available yet when I registered and since I got a high chair for the shower I just couldn't justify buying another one
Lo seem so to be behind everyone else. No sign of walking but cruising well. No real words except his own. When we say "titi" which USB our Spanish baby talk for "sippy cup" he responds with "na-na." It means he wants one. Same with "papa" which is how most hispanics like us call food in kid terms. Screams a lot and is annoying the hell out of me with the throwing of everything.
