    1. Due date?
    Tentatively 3/18
    2. How are you feeling? DD posts are welcome if you need support  3
Nervous AF. I took a pg test today like an idiot and am now worried about the line not getting darker even though I know that's not anything to worry about it. It hasn't even been 48 hours since the last test.
    3. Any upcoming appointments and/or updates from recent appointments?
I am waiting the results from the HCG and progesterone (betas?) bloodwork I got yesterday. I had my progesterone tested at 7dpo (Sat) and they said my level of 12.9 was in a "gray area".I'm worried it has not gone up yet.
    4. Questions/concerns?
Oh I have tons, but I have plenty of time to sit here and google them all haha.

  • Thanks @vflux33 I wasn't sure if I was "welcome" to post here.

    1. Due date?
    March 14th

    2. How are you feeling? DD posts are welcome if you need support  3
*not sure what DD means*  But, I'm feeling great - not really having any physical symptoms yet.  I'm emotionally a little on edge because there's sooooo much to consider/factor/get ready for when you're expecting.  I've done this before, but the same nerves are very real each time!

    3. Any upcoming appointments and/or updates from recent appointments?
My first appointment is scheduled for July 27th.

    4. Questions/concerns?
None yet, but I'm sure they will come!

I'm super happy to be sharing a BMB with you ladies!

  • @ladybugsamom Yes, you are definitely welcome here!  :) DD in some contexts means "dirty delete" but in other contexts such as here it means "dear diary". Feel free to use that space to vent about whatever.

  • @vflux33 Thank you for reassurance it was ok to post here! As I was typing I was thinking "Should I be doing this? I hope so because I have these feeling to get out!!" I had to go back and look to see when you have the test to see if you are having multiples! I will be super stalking you in 3 weeks lol.
I did get my #'s back, I feel a bit better now. My HCG is 62 and Progesterone did go up - it is 21. The doctor is pleased to see these numbers @ 3.5 wks. I have another blood test Monday so hoping to see that HCG go into the hundreds! First u/s and checkup is July 31st.
@ladybugsamom I'm glad to see even ppl who have already had kids are still nervous. Well, not glad that your nervous, I'm just glad I'm not alone in the nerves dept.
@bethennyfrankel Yes, keep us posted after your confirmation!
@heatherdubrow I can't wait to find out how many heartbeats you hear next week!

There are so many ttgp grads this month! I apologize for ghosting on the ttgp board the last roughly two months.  I was having a hard time keeping up with challenging work hours and the stress of ttgp.

    1. Due date? Roughey 3/8 may change after my first appointment.

    2. How are you feeling? DD posts are welcome if you need support  3
Thrilled to be pregnant. But worried something might happen.
    3. Any upcoming appointments and/or updates from recent appointments?
First appointment is July 19th. It feels like an eternity away.
    4. Questions/concerns?
    vflux33mdfarmchickmuggle621
  • @emcake Welcome! The worry is normal and hopefully will subside some once you have your first appointment.

  • hi guys! Not sure if anyone remembers me, but I was posting in TTGP for the first few months of the year.

    1. Due date? march 19 per FF

    2. How are you feeling? DD posts are welcome if you need support  3

Just tentatively psyched. Freaking out occasionally, as someone mentioned above, about the relative darkness of my lines.

    3. Any upcoming appointments and/or updates from recent appointments?

Just made an appointment for 8/22. Didn't necessarily seem late to me, but y'all seem to be getting in sooner. Mostly I wanted to wait for a particular midwife. Are yours just for beta quant?

    4. Questions/concerns?

let me know if you think I'm not ttgp enough for this thread!

  • @orbmaker I think we may have missed each other in TTGP (I started posting September 2016 and took a break from November until March), but it's cool you're here and I look forward to getting to know you! As for the u/s, I have an appointment at exactly 7 weeks, which will be 7/26 for me, but it's with my RE--not my OB. I'm not experienced with this stuff but my sense is if you wanted an appointment earlier than late August you could probably get one (but then it sounds like you wouldn't have your preferred midwife).
  • @orbmaker my first real appt is not until 12 weeks. That is standard protocol for my office! I had an early ultrasound due to dating discrepancies.
  • @orbmaker Yeah, I've heard that some offices don't see you for your first visit until 12 weeks.  My first appointment is scheduled for July 27th which will put me at 7w1d.  I think I'll call just to make sure I'll get an u/s at that visit, too.  This is a new doctor so I'm not 100% sure of all of their protocols yet.

  • Wow, you guys, I had no idea the 12 weeks thing was so common. I'd go INSANE waiting that long to hear a heartbeat.
    heatherdubrow
  • @mdfarmchick You definitely belong here  :) I'm sorry you're already having so much ms, but glad it is lessening your anxiety somewhat. I haven't had any yet, but bracing myself...

Anyone else missing how people (other than drive-bys) actually adhere to the board organization in TTGP? All these different threads are driving me bonkers.
Not really but then again I am more familiar with the style pre-current TTGP organization. This is still a vast improvement on how it use to be with ten million "an I pregnant look at this" posts that use to fill up the BMBs in the early days.

  • I get annoyed when it's not regular posters, @vflux33. Like someone who hasn't even intro'd posting an AW thread that only applies to them...
    mdfarmchickvflux33runsoncoffeeEverycol0r
  • I mean I like the organization, but I also like that we aren't "the board police"--i.e., it's nice to just gently remind people where we have a thread for that already but not feel the need to jump on people. Overall, it feels like a good vibe for a board. And I second @heatherdubrow it annoys me when it's someone that hasn't even intro'd.
    vflux33Everycol0r
  • Yeah I don't mind the ones that apply to lots of people like "maternity clothes" etc. And yeah gentle reminders are appropriate. I agree I like the vibe here so far (but haven't been in one before so nothing to compare). In your experience, do the one offs from people who haven't intro'd die down in second tri?
    mdfarmchickmuggle621
  • @vflux33 kinda? There will be guess the 'gender' posts for sure... I'm actually really surprised we haven't seen any Facebook group posts yet!
    vflux33mdfarmchickmuggle621
  • @heatherdubrow I've lurked a ton of the "let's start a FB group" threads in other BMBs. SO not down. Even if I knew everyone in it and it wasn't a phishing scam. I hate FB.
    heatherdubrowmdfarmchickmuggle621
  • @vflux33 I joined my fb group from oct 12 and we're all super close still. But we didn't move there until after babies were born, and even then we've had to weed out some crazies. It just cracks me up that people come here having not participated and want us to all join their Facebook group!
    vflux33mdfarmchick
  • @heatherdubrow Yeah the randos asking for the groups always come across very catfish-y.

Sadly even if there is a great FB group made after birth with zero crazies I'd still have to stay away. Facebook was not a good place for me. I deactivated a year ago and I'm so much happier now. So I hope people don't go there instead because I'll feel left out! Do the BGs erase the BMBs after a certain amount of time?

Hi ladies.  I recognize so many names and I'm not sure if anyone recognizes mine.  I lurked a lot on TTGP, introed and posted here and there, mostly in WTO and TWW threads.  I was more active in TTCAL.  I see that there isn't a Pregnant after loss thread so I was hoping I could post here for my sanity.  Let me know if that's okay/isn't okay.

    Hugs.

  • @hdaley we do have a weekly PGAL thread, if you search it should be there!
  • @vflux33 my Aug15 board moved to Facebook after we had all the babies and then weeded out a few more crazies. I am super close to all of those ladies and love my "mom group". We even had a few ladies come over and make a fake Facebook with their bump names only to interact with us.  <3
    vflux33
  • I do like the board organization of TTGP but I also don't mind one-offs that apply to everyone like @vflux33 mentioned. I'd still like to see an AMA 35+ thread started and there was no Wednesday Ticker change this week. I'd definitely join in on those too.

As for FB, I have a love/hate relationship with it. Every other day I want to deactivate it but then I come across an inspirational and uplifting page that I want updates from, so I keep it.

  • @ladybugsamom feel free to start an AMA thread if you don't see one posted!

  • I'm surprised also that there haven't been any facebook requests. I'm in a facebook group with my Aug 16 moms and it's one of the reasons I stay on facebook... I've even met one of the moms IRL. But we didn't start the group until a few months after our babies were born.
  • Nein on the FB groups for me.

  • @GG620 I only had one draw and I got the results in about 5 hours, but was told it would have been sooner if not for the fact that my blood had to be sent 4 towns up the road to a different lab (rural area).

Make sure to update us tomorrow!
