1. How was last week? Plans for this week? Got in a couple 3 mile runs at week. It was so hot out and they felt like a huge effort. Not painful though. I'd like to get several runs in and get to the gym a time or two to lift weights. Hubby and I ran 3 miles this morning. But he did a 12 hour race on Saturday, so I was the one dragging him around today. Ha!
2. How are we all dealing with the heat and working out while on vacations/summer? Trying to push through the heat and keep really well hydrated! I got to do an outdoor yoga while I was visiting family. That was fun!
3. GTKY: fantasy sporting event or race you'd love to attend? The Olympics
1. How was last week? Plans for this week? Last week was steady I even got a leg day in on Saturday, so far only an elliptical session this week. I plan getting three more workouts in.
2. How are we all dealing with the heat and working out while on vacations/summer? I pretty much workout inside, so no problems here.
3. GTKY: fantasy sporting event or race you'd love to attend? The Mayweather/McGregor fight!
1. How was last week? Plans for this week? i was on vacation last week so i did more eating than working out. i got in two workouts when i came home (fri/sat). this week has been rough too because of the 4th. we went away with some friends to the beach and that took priority over working out (duh lol). i hope to lift/HIIT wed-sat to make up for it!
2. How are we all dealing with the heat and working out while on vacations/summer? it isnt too hot where i live. so far so good...i thought of this question because we were away last week in GA where it was so hot i couldn't imagine working out, preg or not!
3. GTKY: fantasy sporting event or race you'd love to attend? olympics is a good one! i honestly have so many. i have already been to a superbowl but it was so awesome i would probably put it up there again (as long as the patriots play!).
1. How was last week? Plans for this week? OK - Had a bachelorette party last weekend so my only workout was the hike we went on. Back on track for this week. We're changing our lifting program from Wendler's to more volume based program.
2. How are we all dealing with the heat and working out while on vacations/summer? Trying to force myself to drink water and find a local gym if I can when I travel. If not, whatever walking we do counts.
3. GTKY: fantasy sporting event or race you'd love to attend? UEFA Champions League Final or US Women's National Team soccer olympics finals
1. How was last week? Plans for this week? Last week went well. I PRed my 5RM bench press and deadlift. I almost PRed my shoulder press but I was only able to get four reps. We did a group workout on Saturday morning and it felt good being able to keep up with everyone else. This week is about getting myself healthy. I've had a cold since Sunday evening. I'm doing better today but still feeling kind of crappy. I hope to make it in on Friday.
2. How are we all dealing with the heat and working out while on vacations/summer? Last week wasn't too bad. I would go to the early morning classes or if I went in the evening, the coach would have the A/C blasting. I always have plenty of water and coconut water with me. It's supposed to reach 100+ temperatures tomorrow through Sunday.
3. GTKY: fantasy sporting event or race you'd love to attend? I guess it would either be the Super Bowl or World Cup (DH is a huge soccer fan and although I don't normally watch all the games, I kind of get into the World Cup games).
